This whole recall business has become a first class disaster. It seems it just gets worse. First it was the bargain foods, then some mid-tier producers, then cat foods and now some premium brands appear to be caught-up in this.

When I got my guys I talked to the breeder for some time about feeding and he recommended what I had already decided upon and that was Natura Innova Evo. If this all comes off as a testimonial cum advertisement, then so it does. I don't mean it to be an ad but honestly, I feel like the guy with the house on the hill who survives while his valley neighbors get flooded out. I keep watching and waiting for Nutra to be added to the list of manufacturers but, so far, they haven't and now, according to them anyway, they can't.

If you have worries, I suggest checking them out. The owner just made a video statement explaining their position. Their rice appears to be safe too as explained in their latest press release.

I don't work for these guys, don't own stock in the company, or sell their products. I just want to share what my research has found and why I am satisfied that Natura won't be part of the recall problem. Two people I know have lost their dogs to this disaster and it seems they don't know where to buy food that doesn't use wheat glutens. When I point them to Natura, I receive a lot of thanks. No company can be perfect and I'm not saying something couldn't happen in the future, but they're immune to problems from this recall because they don't use the problem ingredent in any of their products.

I'm really hoping this helps some people who are very worried and don't know where to turn. Maybe Natura is an option for them.

If you know of other manufacturer brands which don't use these ingredients, please post them. I think it would be very helpful for people to have a listing of foods that DO NOT use wheat glutens or rice.

Thank you.

We are just saying screw all kibble and starting home cooking as a possible intro to Raw eventually.................I am no longer going to sit by and just trust that companies do their best to keep our animals safe. It is in my hands now.

We feed Solid Gold and switch around with Canadae.......neither have been recalled as of yet, but I am not waiting to find out if they will be :(

Same here. We switched Buddy's food to california natural until we are able to create a home cooked/raw plan for the dogs. Banzai and Bella were already on Innova, which IMO is still a quality food. I'm just not dealing with kibble anymore.

Orijen is also a safe food as far as I know and it is fantastic!! Im still not done switching over to Innova Evo and Orijen from Wellness because I wanted to use up what Wellness I had left but so far they are doing great! I could''ve done the switch cold turkey but I was eager to get them on the new stuff! LOL

I already feed Innova Adult and will probably stay within the Natura line; I'm going to see if I can budget enough to afford EVO for awhile while I'm researching how to properly feed raw.

I think that was very big of Natura to come forward and make people feel comfortable about feeding there foods. I am waiting for the Innova evo red meat in LARGE chunks to come out and begin switching Caiza over to it again. I really do like the Timberwolf line but the lack of info they give out worries me!
