I hope this turns out to be nothing. I was going to start my cat on that wet food now I don't know what to choose for wet food

The second link is not working and the first did not have enough information for me to believe it. I hope it's not true, though.

ETA: second link finally worked for me and it is from late March. I would prefer to see new information rather than rely on something that is old.

I just got this info off a cat forum thought I should post it just in case. I really hope it's not actually dangerous. the first link is new though, people are still posting and everything. I wish there was more info though

It has nothing to do with the Menu recalls. It's only the Venison and Brown Rice Dry Dog foods and the Venison and Green Pea cat food.

For some reason I don't think this is going to be as serious as a lot of people are making it out to be. We'll see, I guess.

Ruckus eats that food. actually i just got done feeding him before i read this. this bag i have is about a month old, so its not the new batch. i wonder if i still need to be feeding this? id say not, better safe than sorry.
any advice?

I switched Max to that about a month before He died. I doubt this had anything to do with his death but it still makes me so angry! They say it was only the food purchased in the last week though.

Actually, I heard it from Bobsk (In another foum life) first... ironically enough.

Bob was a valuable member on this forum and I'm sad that he hasn't been posting here lately. I didn't always agree with him but I appreciated his comments.

I highly doubt that he's embarrassed by this personally. He has had great results with Natural Balance and isn't scared to spread the word.

Similarly, I've had great results with Canidae and SummerRiot has had great results with Innova EVO RM. People find diets that they're happy to feed their dogs and try to inform their friends as well as they can.

I've picked a few jokes at Bob about his Natural Balance obsession, but let's not get carried away. Maybe he will see your comment and come back--I hope!

You know I really love all of you and do you really think it is something we need to do here ? Bob had his beliefs as we all do and most importantly he loves his dog. I know he is not a member anymore but do we here really need to go here ?
We are never all going to agree on anything that is that but he would have never just gotten rid of his dog or hurt it and I don't remember him ever saying that he wished ill on yours. Some here are raw feeders and I do know that we would never make fun of you if your dog became ill from tainted meat. I just think that we are bigger then this or we should be. Many who feed kibble to their dogs are sure they are doing the right thing as are raw feeders and darn it this is so scary. We may see some of our pets go down and God I pray not but I would sure hope for support not criticism or jokes. I really do not find the fact that animals are ill and dying just because they are eating a funny matter nor the fact that some one choses a certain brand of food and believes it right a thing to joke about. I know Bob did come off harsh sometimes but still I think he cared even so lets not joke about this in anyway it is serious and very frightening. I think Chazzers need to support each other thru these trying times. Thank you for hearing me.

Well this is just crazy with this food thing! I feed the Potato and Duck, so far that is not involved , but who knows today what will happen. It's just ridiculous..I hope they straighten this out.
