I don't have nearly as many as I used to. Now I have 2 cats, 2 gerbils, 1 leopard Gecko and a lot of fish.

I used to have (like 2 years ago) 3 hermit crabs, a frog, 2 gerbils (different ones), a dog, 1 cat, a leopard Gecko and lots of Fish

(9-5)+1=5 and a lot of fish

Why'd all my pets die:confused: :(

In my house, right now:
3 dogs
2 cats
2 birds
________
7

...BUT Missy and Maddie are mine (2 dogs)
Charlie is mine, but he his a foster (1 dog)
Gomer is "mine" (we fight over him, but he found me first! 1 cat)
Bella is strictly my dads (1 cat - Maine coon)
and the birds are NOT mine! they drive me crazy! They're the rest of the family's birds.

I don't know... just felt that I had to point that out, so when I move back out people won't be too confused :p

Awesome :) what a menagerie! you are a braver person than me pupmiki! wow I can only handle one dog (my partner would like another though LOL) and you keep cats. I hope that they all get along OK. Hamsters aren't my favorite pets... sweet to look at but they like to bite me  and last but definitely not least 9 fishtanks!!!!!!! what the heck!!!! wow I had better not let my fella read this. It will give him ideas. We only have two tanks and a pond LOL. What kind of tanks do you have?

hey Maxy good choice of pets! I love gerbils! I haven't kept any for a long time now but they are such sweet little creatures. I like it when they run up my arm and sit on my shoulder ^__^ and my partner used to have a little Gecko, they are cute to, but not their food. Its always sad when we loose pets isn't it. Maybe you should keep elephants LOL LOL. I here they live for a long time ;)

Yeah I love gerbils! I had my first who was Oatmeal, then I got Ruby and Ginger and Now I have Lilac and Lavender. They are my favorite rodent. I have never seemed to like Hamsters, they tend to be more moody (although i have met some nice ones) and bite when you wake them up. Plus they are nocturnal while Gerbils take small naps through out the day and night, they just fit with me better. Plus I like that they are more athletic and move around when you hold them more which makes some people nervous but I like it! I think I will even own them in College if I am allowed (I'll have to put a lock on the tank though so no one steals them or touches them  ). Wow you guys have quite the zoos :p

I have a nice long list of pets that I would love but according to my Mum I'm getting too old for pets :S. I'm doing an animals management course for heavens sake.

how do i manage...
hmm, i guess i am blessed with a very gentle dog :)
first off the rabbits do have cages they can get in when ever they want, and around the house there are places that the rabbits can fit that Ruckus cant. so if they get tired of him they can get away. Ruckus does get a bit rough trying to play sometimes. thats why i NEVER leave the rabbits and the dog unattended. the dog will go in the crate or the rabbits will go back into the cages.

everyone gets along really well :)
Ruckus even brings the rabbits squeaky toys.. but they are not amused :D

2 chis of my own
1 chi puppy comming late april of mine
1 chi of my parents
1 cocker spaniel
so
5 dogs
1 cat
1 goffins cockatoo
and aproximatly 500 freshwater and 100 saltwater fish spaced in about 30 tanks of various sizes and setups.
(i have literally managed to put at least 2 fishtanks in every room of our house lol)

its better than 1 yr ago when 4 rats, 3 ferrets, a sugar glider, and a leopard gecko would have been added to the list.

I do have plans to add another 3 tank (55-75 gal discus, 10 gal blue ram tank, and a 5 gal betta tank) and a pair of sugar gliders, but not untill the apartments ready.
And eventually id like a siamese or Balanese kitten too...
And a Great Dane.

I LOVE having them all around, theres alays something for me to do or someone to play with, the way i see it is as long as i can give each the time and attention they need and deserve AND can afford the propper care/food ect and have enough space...
ill always have more pets than human frineds lol

and its not so bad, officially ill only have 3 chihuahuas once the apts done...
3 chis, a sugar glider a cat and fish arnt that many pets....right?!
