Well In a dog food made in central america called ascan they have two weirds ingridients.
First is "destillers dried grain" but it dosen't mention whish ones, could be the same grains for making beer??
The other ingridient is "yuca" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuca that's a root is of common use on people diet in many central america's countries.
The flavor is similar to fried potatoes but the texture is softher and a little fiberish.
But it looks like this dog food is pretty bad.
