Everything but the barley looks great to me. Barley is a high gluten grain similar to wheat and I won't feed it. I prefer grains like brown rice...

I agree, I wont feed Barley either for the same reason. Beef isn't a bad ingredient, but just be aware it's one of the most common K9 allergens. Other than that, the food does look very good.

ok thanks! My friend feeds that to her dogs and wanted to know if it was a good food. It's better than what my other friends feed (science diet and kibbles and chunks) and I'll tell her that. I might suggest something different, we'll see.

According to Natura (makers of Innova, Innova EVO), Barley isn't so bad.

NaturaPet said:
Ground barley is the entire barley kernel, ground or chopped.

Ground barley is a good quality source of carbohydrates. Because Natura uses the entire barley kernel, it contributes additional protein, barley oil, bran, and vitamins and minerals to the diet.

This is in contrast to the fractionated grain ingredients used by some manufacturers, such as cracked pearl barley or barley flour, which are leeched of much of their nutritional value.
I don't feed it, though.
