I got this idea from a friend, whos dog eat everything... as in jewlery and stones... After talking to her this morning she mentioned that her dog ( A lab) had wolfed down one of her golden bracelettes. I'm sure it'll come back sometime... ^^Gipsy hasn't (or at least I don't think) eaten any of my jewlery, but I wouldn't bet that she wouldn't eat it if it were to fall to the ground. But she does like to steal things, it always on a Saturday because we all sleep in, and so she gets bored with herself and goes on hunts. About two years ago I woke up to find my Ipod in her mouth.
Sooo has your dog/cat eaten anything. (My friend's cats are the first I've seen that steal socks.)

I'm expecting a few pebbles any day now, and maybe some screws, I was chewing on a few. I think his goal in life is to eat one of everything.

Voodoo has eaten bricks. Seriously.

He was outside while hubby and I were laying the new brick patio. We had to chisel some of the bricks to fit the space, so there were broken chunks of brick laying around.

We caught Voodoo as he was trying to chew up and swallow a chunk of brick. LOL, he wasn't getting far, but he certainly had a determined look on his face! We took it from him, but we kept catching him trying to eat the chunks of brick. He ended up going inside after that.

He fortunately didn't swallow any big chunks. But as I was doing scooper duty the next day, I noticed some of the land mines were rather...pebbly. LOL, it must've hurt!

Duke eats sand and poops it out. Its very odd. It looks like poop when it comes out but you pick it up and it crumbles like sand. My friends dog ate her engagment ring but luckly it passed and she got it back.

I spend months training my guy to NOT eat anything that I dont give to him, and proud to say that he's doing great.

When offered food by someone other then me, he ignores it.

Colt is very particular - for those of you who know me you know what I mean I won't rehash it, he has expensive taste!!**rugs** (you know the brand)

Colt steals things for the thrill of the crime - not to eat it. If you see him steal something and ignore him, he will put it down - no fun, eh?

The only thing he will eat is rope from a rope toy. He shreds it and swallows. This scares me so he is no longer allowed to have them which makes him sad, but, oh well.

Oh yeah, and paper. But he doesn't eat this either. He chews it into little spit balls and spits it out all over. Disgusting!!

He hasn't gotten a hold of any of my jewlery. Let's pray he doesn't!!

Yeesh Bumhouse, this is scarey. Tosca does the spit ball thing too. Anything that's paper or cardboard will not escape her chewing and spitting routine.

I'm tellin ya, ToscasMom - there's a secret Collie network. These guys brake out of the crate when we go out and talk on their own computer forum (probably through your blog somehow..). They think up ways to disturb us. Then laugh about it later. We're the big human joke thing going on with them...."Hey'd - didja here what my human did today?", "Guess how I made my human crazy today?", "Try this...".

Wellllll, there was this one time. :D

I was watching my sisters dog for her. She has a Shih-tzu (sp). The first day I had him he was having a hard time going to the bathroom. :D Sorry, can't stop smiling, LOL......after a few minutes I started following him and was looking at his bum when I saw something red covered in feces coming out, gross I know! Anyways, he couldn't push it out so I had to pull on it for it to come out. Reallllly gross!

It was a pair of my sisters thong underwear! The whole thing! :yikes:

Sal has eaten a few neighborhood children..... na not really, but he does seem to like the taste because he keeps licking them.

But seriously, Athena ate a box of colored pencils once :yikes: , scared the heck out of me but after some treatments by the Vet see passed some of the prettiest poop you'll ever see. :p

As I mentioned in a thread before, Chloe used to like to toilet paper the house like a drunken frat boy, (she's too good for that now as she's a sorority member :D ) but she also liked to chew up the TP and leave spit balls and swollowed some too. I guess she just thought she'd be able to do her business and wipe at the same time too. :p I call that "streamlining".

Mine mostly chew things but don't swallow. :p But Sakari will it anything I swear. She ate my birth control pills once. She wasn't spayed yet so I guess that was good lol. When she got shots and dewormed last year they put her dewormer in a little pill pocket and she ate the pocket and spit the pill out. Then realized she had missed something so she ate the pill by itself! lol She's chewed up the couch, cell phones, shoes, ... basically anything left on the floor. The other dogs, being big dogs now, mostly chew stuff like sticks and bones. They are out of their chewing phase thankfully.

Millie has hardly eaten anything she wasn't supposed to.

Lucy, on the other hand..book corners, book covers, paper, picture frame corners, the stuffing of the chair, underwear..
She is doing SOOOOOOOOO much better, though. She was just hard to puppy-proof for because she had no problem getting on top of tables or desks.
