She FINALLY got picked up today and the mom said that for really real she is trying to find a home for her and so we have fliers up at work now. I guess there's a divorce and new job to contend with on top of a couple of young kids, so the dog is just too much.

Anyone looking for a Golden?

Zoe is almost 1 year old, still intact. Very sweet, lots of energy but great focus. Would make a good sports dog or jogging partner; gets along great with other dogs. Don't know about cats, but judging from how she tracks squirrels, I'd say probably not, or only very dog-savvy cats. She knows sit, down, drop it, watch me and "go get it". She does have a problem with jumping right now. Loves to give hugs, will do anything to play in some water and is housebroken and crate trained. PM me if you or someone you know would give Zoe the loving home she needs!

Ooh Zoom, I wish I could take her. I do love the "crazies".

Good luck finding her a home! I will ask around here if anyone is interested in a sport dog . . .

What happened? I thought you wanted to keep her...

I can't help here, but good luck finding Zoe a good home.

Oh, but, Zoom.. don't you want her? *gives puppy eyes* You care so much about that girl!

I'd take her, but we're in Cali and I'm sure hubby would say no...

I was going to "keep" her until I found her a suitable home, and train her in the interim. She would have been staying at work for the most part with occasional trips home with me. I can't actually keep her for real. Until I move out, my parent's house is a one dog house. Virgo was a special case and only because she wasn't going to stay here permanently.

I'd love to have her, of course. But circumstance dictate otherwise.

Hey Zoom
I would SO take her as I am looking for a sport dog, but I do have a kitty and from the sounds of it they wouldn't be a great mix, LOL.

However, if you're willing to ship, may I suggest looking into these guys? I could do a homecheck...

Anyhow, no worries if you're not comfortable!

I can't say that she's 100% not good with cats, but I haven't tested her. I don't think she would try to eat them, but if they ran, she would def. chase. I will get the mom's number and PM it to you and see what happens. I'm sort of the middle man now.
