Hi gang! Long time no post! I just wanted to introduce some of my old friends to my newest "Pet".

Ugh the Mule!

He's 5 1/2 mos old. His momma was a black/grey mustang and his dad was a spotted jack. He's pretty big for a weanling, and I've just started his ground work. I'm a little pissed at him tonight because he kicked me in the leg. Seems he doesn't like me messing with his feet when he's eating.

God! What a jackass!

Oh what a cutie. :) What are your plans for Ugh? :)
He's just gonna be a trail mule. My son will be 7 by the time Ugh is saddle trained, so he may do a little Western pleasure stuff if my son is so inclined. I'll take him to some mule shows next year to see how he (the mule) does in Halter classes to see if we want to pursue any showing with him.

I trail ride and camp a lot, so that's his main future for the most part. I'm also gun breaking him so I can do some mounted cowboy shooting in a few years from him too.

**snorts**...sorry but that's pretty funny. Although I'm sure it wasn't at the time! One forgets that this is not really an option with dogs and cats. If I touch Sunday's feet she'll just hop up and walk away.

Hope the leg's ok!! (PS - Love Ugh's name, too - too good!) :D
