One of the joys of having dogs.. huh..

Twice a week I go out into the backyard with my trusty pooper scooper and a bag and clean up after my 2 overgrown beasts.

Its so gross.. I almost yack every time I do it. Does my husband ever have this duty... nahhh... once in a blue moon does he ever help out. I guess its one of my "chores" amongst others I do around the house.. lol

Binn.. mygod.. his poops are bigger then mine.. :lol-sign:

Ah yes the joys of dog ownership!!! I clean mine every other day if not every day though. Keeps the number of flies and other poop-loving bugs down and also because of that reduces the number of maggots in the poop pail. Plus I hate turds in the yard especially when the boys start playing *squish* Off to the bath tub!

Yikes... All I can say is that perhaps if you did it twice a day instead of twice a week, it wouldn't be so overwhelming! I live in the city so must pick up behind my dog EVERY time with nothing but a baggie between my hand and the stuff. Talk about getting to know your dog!

The end of your post IS hysterical!!! You seems like a petite woman, so I'm not at all surprised! LOL... ewwwwww.

Because Justin has 2 big dogs he gets the joy of poop duty before he leaves here every Sunday. There have been lots of times when I have came very close to gagging when I have to pick it up.

The joys of small dogs, Innova EVO and no grass in the yard - the dog poop is tiny, hard as a rock, completely dried out and easy to pick up. :D The boys both go in one corner of the yard so i clean that up every few days.

It was way different when we had Buster, though. That dog's poops were as big as ripley. :yikes:

I hate picking up after the dogs with a bag. Hate it. Ew. :p I always take bags with me on walks just in case, but I always encourage them to go in the yard so I can pick it up with the pooper scooper.

Hey how about this to please everyone, at the kennel a small sample of stoole is taken from every one of the 20 dogs every day during high worm season and inspected under a microscope! They also clean every kennel twice a day. Gosh and I thought once a day or once every other day with just two dogs is pleasing enough! LOL

I clean the yard every day, but there usually isn't that much there, because they go on our walks. When it's cold out Frodo insists on going on the walkway:rolleyes: , so I get to clean that up before school too.
