Well, I just received some bad news, our girl Jade a beautiful Dob pup has just died. I can not beleive that anyone would pay as much as they did for this magnificent show peice and true love of a dog. Then be as irresponsible as they were.

According to the new owner, Jade had taken off a few times, but rather than spending the money to have her trained and work with the issue they let it go.

Well, the last day of Jades life, she again would take off, they looked everywhere for her. Once they found her she was tangled up in a thorn bush thickit. She was found with the bush rapped around her neck, strangling her, along with wasp stings all over her body. By the time they located her, she was already half gone, according to the owner, once she was removed from the bush Jade just died in her arms.

How sincerely irresponsible of these people. When the new owner contacted me about Jades death was 2 weeks ago, she stressed it was an obstruction of the bowl. Yeah okay and now this.

They are now asking to purchase another Dob from me, to be honest I really do not think that I would have the heart to do that too another one of my dogs and or pups.

So if you new this had happened to one of your dogs babies, would you consider selling them another? or would you not?

Aw God, poor dog. He was a sitting duck for wasps while he choked. I not only would not sell them another dog, I would give them a piece of my mind in the process of refusing them.

Never! Tell them to bugger off!
Well I think I should do that, Jade was such a pretty girl, all the vets told me to bring her into the show ring she was that exceptional. My husband just about freaked with anger when I sold her. Hey I felt that she was better of being the only dog. Well my thoughts were well off key with this one.

Nope they will never get another dog from me, can you beleive that the lady was a nurse in a clinic? If she could afford to buy the dog why did she not put the ****ing money into her for training. NUT CASES ALL OVER THE WORLD ARE THERE NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yikes:

I can't believe that is a question you would even have to ask!

You should consider a more extensive check before you sell pups to people.

ditto.
I know the grief i do. Bronki's litter mate passed away on Christmas day. I don't know why, they tried to say it was distemper but no way for that pup was vaccinated and boostered before it ever left our house. That was pick of the litter for hunting ability, it broke my heart, i do not know what happened and if it were like your story i think i would break in two. They have some nerve asking for another, they shouldn't be allowed to have any dog ever again. Sorry sorry sorry,

theres no way id ever "adopt" out to them again, i think a more extensive check before you pups go home might be in order, and mabe even a clause in your contract stating your preference for the dog to go through at least a basic training course or something.
Id also contact any other breeders in the area and let them know what happend so that this wont happen again.
I know if they REALY want a dog theyll find one somewhere but at least by spreading the word its gonna make it harder on them and they might think twice...:(
Im so sorry!

Yes, your statements are true: I realise that you are upset with the question, and that too is fair. The reason I placed it was to see if other's would feel the same as I do! Where as I beleive that you are one of them, a good thing.

Now as far as doing a extensive check on the people that I sell my dogs too, I do do that. First and foremost they must:

1) Fill out a application
2) Send referances
3) I even spoke to her boss the Dr. at the clinic she worked at. As well as her co-workers.
4) The lady paid $2500.00 for a 4 month old Doberman pup so in my veiw, I felt that I had done the extent of the research necessary.
5) All contracts signed and dated weeks prior to the sale and or delivery of the dog in question. This goes for all and any dog here.

So since you have an attitude to attack I felt that I would inform you of what and how extensive my program is. I personaly have nothing to hide and honey I will never have anything to hide. So it was a simple question that I felt I should and could ask. I hope this assists you with your concern of how i do and conduct my business practises

Wow! That doesn't sound like a Doberman, that running off so much from his owner. Dobermans are one of those normally stick around types. Why would the dog go into a bush which was covered with thorns? Ouch! Doesn't seem like something a dog would do. Well, very sad story.

That is the thing that totally amazes me: Jade was a independent kinda girl but as you and I know had to be apart of you on you with you. This story is too strange for me to even grasp.

When they first contacted me they stated that the dog had a obstruction of the bowl. Well I was concerned as on all of my contracts it states there was a 2 yr health and tempermant guar. So if this was caused from the breeding I would have stoood 200% on the situation. Now today, this is what I get slapped in my face. I am too much in shock, I should have listened to the 3 vets that had veiwed her and get this my husband. But what can you do about it now? Nothing!

I know that she was a great and fun loving dog, and that at 10 months old she is now gone to doggie heaven. Poor Jade the suffering she had to have gone through. Nope they are not getting another dog from me. No matter we will not be breeding our girl any time soon. Not worth to think that another one of her kids would have to go through that type of trama. I have a pic of her Jade but do not know how to get it up for every one too see. thanx DOBERLUV for understanding the situation:(

If I was even considering selling these people another dog, I think I woould check myself into a mental health hospital for observation..

Poor dog. :(

And, I really can't believe that you would even consider selling them another pup! Absolutely not! They have proven to be unworthy of a high valued dog, please don't put another dog in their hands and let that dog die too! :(

I know that I too would sign myself away, The thing about it was the way they contacted me two weeks ago. Really strange, It was as if they were asking for a replacement dog right away at my expense. I should cut and paste it on the forum. But any how I just contacted her in a nice way and said I was sorry about the lose and what she needed to do to provide me with the proper information. Regarding Jade.

Well I guess all hell hit the fan today. Such imbasills. I just can't beleive this I am in total shock and there are a few more aggressive words that I wish to say but know I can't

I didn't even remember that you bred Dobermans. What lines do you have? That's pretty brave too, to give a 2 year health guarantee on Dobermans in particular. Yes, I don't think I would want to sell another one to those people....doesn't sound like they trained the dog very well and that training might have kept her from going away and getting all tangled up in the bush.

Do you know how to load a picture onto your computer and put it in "My Pictures" or some other file? If you do that, you can go to the picture gallery here and hit upload pictures (after you establish a gallery, I think. There are instructions) Then you'll see a button that says browse and it will take you to your file on your computer. You select the picture and hit submit on the bottom of the page. Then it goes in your gallery here. From there you click on the picture to make it the larger image and right click on that, click the properties in the box that comes up. In the upper left of the page will be the url address. Highlight it, copy and go to your post and paste. Click on the little yellow icon with the mountains on top of the post. In the upper left something will come up. Eliminate what is there, a partical http// (or something like that) and right click/paste and hit OK. That will put the tags needed around your url on you post to make the picture show up for all to see. Is that clear as mud?

You can also....... sign up for a free account on http://www.photobucket.com

upload pictures from your hard drive onto photobucket.

Under the thumbnail picture there are three links.......
"copy" the 3rd one and just paste it into your "reply" here in a new post.

Your picture should show up.

You can even resize them in photobucket.
