Hi, im so happy ive found a place to ask some question. My 2 yr. Old red dobi. Just had her first liter all 9 babies seem healthy and beautiful. I am however concerned that mama(meicha) after 3 days it seems she would rather get in bed and under the covers with me than be in her welping area (which is littrraly touching my bed) she id feeding and cleaning them i just didnt exspect her to do this. Is it normal? Is it ok ?

Just need to work with her. When my Golden wouldn't clean her 6 puppies, my wife and I had to sit there and basically stuff the puppy's butt in front of her so that she would lick/clean them. It was a time consuming task for a few days, but eventually she started doing it on her own age. It's normal.

Well I would call your vet (hopefully you have one you really trust) because I am sure there are a number of things that could be the issue but those babies need to get the attention and loving and food they need. Let me know how it goes!!
