Jealous of all of y'alls puppies :p Still no puppy here and no puppy until at least winter time but more likely summer of '16. Which sucks. But oh well, I will live vicariously through all of you!

Hopefully I'll have a fluffy pointy to join the takeover.
Yay more pointies! The ranks could definitely do with another.

Speaking of which, just found out mama dog is definitely pregnant! Hallelujah! Now I just need her to have a few females in there :hail:

Yay! Do they know approximately how many?
Nope, no x-ray yet or number guesses...I'm not first on the list so if it turns out to be a very small litter I might be out of luck again. So many things to obsess over, I can't wait for the little nuggets to be born.

That's a bummer. Do you know how they tested if they didn't do an ultrasound? I still don't know how all of this works and the various ways you can tell if they are pregnant. I know with Watson's litter they found out via ultrasound. There is probably a blood test?

My friend who is breeding a working line GSD litter uses a Relaxin test (I think that's what she called it). It's a blood test and can be done at 1 month "pregnant" to see if the breeding took.

Interesting! I figured there must be a blood test, but with Watson's litter they just waited for the ultrasound so I wasn't sure what the other options were. They did do a progesterone blood test, but from what I read online that doesn't really tell you anything, since progesterone levels are elevated after a heat whether the bitch was bred or not.

I think the ultrasound was done right around 1 month too, so it's probably just down to what you want to do and what you're willing to pay.

Here's our 2015 puppy. She was technically born in 2014 though. :) If you didn't see her post in the photo section, here is little Gremlin.

She was born on Nov 19, a day after my birthday. A woman going through cancer treatment had her but is doing poor and couldn't care for her anymore. She's a fun dog! She fits in perfectly with our other dogs. A typical terrier.

She's an off colored Yorkshire Terrier. Can't wait to see what she looks like full grown.

It's not 100% official yet, so I'm holding off on making a thread for him, but it's looking like this guy will probably be joining the family permanently in a couple of weeks. :)

That is so exciting! What's his name? I've seen him around on FB, but I don't think I know his name. How does Rowan like him? And is he a LHW? Or a Silken?

Soooooo pretty. We have a Silken in our agility class and she's beautiful.

Mama Whippet is in heat, and going to be bred this weekend. We should know in a month or so if there are buns in the oven!
