I have been a long time lurker to this forum and stumbled upon this ad. The dog is unmistakable. I am just appalled at this situation. I nearly signed up earlier to volunteer for the transport of a puppy to this person as I am roughly 2/3 of the way between Madison and Superior. I am very glad I didn't as I can't support this completely irresponsible person. Please tell me this is some kind of sick joke!?!? I have thought long and hard about posting this for several days and I just can't get it out of my head.

Uh, nope. I can't keep up with all of those posts, so I must have missed that.

Only thing I had heard was that she wanted to breed him at some point. I was assuming responsibly, pending health testing at the least...

I glaze over a lot of them but this one, well, it stuck out in my mind... probably because CrazedACDs responded and it was never addressed, so... it just stuck out.

I would like to say that before we get all upset maybe we should make sure that it was Brushnazzy that actually posted those adds. We can all agree that that is Chomper in those photos...but we have seen people's photos being used by others before around here.

So before this dissolves into arguments I think we need to be sure what is going on.

As for the puppy...she adopted him from a rescue that another chaz member fosters for. I am pretty sure they would have vetted her before agreeing to send Oli to live with her. I was the person that transported him and let me assure you that he was neutered before he ever left the rescue if that is what you are so worried about.

I have not seen any evidence here or on FB that Brushnazzy does anything less that take good care of her dogs.

If she is indeed thinking about doing this and posted this add is is a bad decision on her part...but instead of flying off the handle about it we should talk to her and educate.

So, one specifically joins a forum to have their very first post to confront a member publically? Without knowing the whole story. That's super cool  not

I'm with Moth. Let's not jump to conclusions lol

It's definitely a member that's too much of a wuss to use their real username.

All I gotta say is that anyone could have made those ads. That happened on a different forum I was on a few years ago- the person stole pics of other people's dogs and put them up "for sale" or stud.

Either way, it's not cool.It would be nice for some confirmation from the dog's owner, but let's not jump to conclusions that she is the one that put those ads up.

I've had pics of GSDs I took stolen to either say that they are horrible/violent (protection shots) but also to say they were looking for a female just like Jentry...I was not happy when I found out her picture was on Craigslist.

I've also got a picture of Beau, Rose, and Summer that is all over the internet on random sites. In fact it is the #5 image on google images right now if you search papillon dog. It's kind of annoying but doesn't bother me enough to track down or deal with it. (http://petzmag.com/papillon-dog/)

I've also once found a picture of Didgie as a puppy on a website. ETA here's Trav on a site: http://dogbreedinfo.us/koolie.html

One of the sad things about posting pics on forums, I guess.

I'd think the best thing is to maybe make a thread with a different title and just ask.

Since it was brought up, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt.

I don't know if she hosts pictures anywhere publicly, but two of the pictures from the ad were never posted on her facebook page, that I can tell, so unless she posted them here, it would seem that the owner of the photos had them and used them in the ad?

Does anyone know if they were all posted here?

I had avoided posting to begin due to I didn't want the person to get the satisfaction of drama, as I'm assuming is the case here, they were looking for, and I was irritated enough that I wasn't in the mood to not be snarky. Seeing it's brought up again I'll address.

Someone being "anonymous" to post this and see if something stirs up instead of directly just coming to me and asking me if it was my posting or if someone was using my images or something other, was my first thought seeing it.

No, I did not post it. I am open about my plans on breeding Chomper, to begin, but I have no intention of studding him out ever when or IF it even happens.

I do upload my pictures in mass on Flickr. Many I don't share anywhere, as I use it as a bit of a storage place, then share the ones I think came out best or I like a lot around. I share on many websites, some which keeps the link to your Flickr (such as FP) when on Chaz and the forums I can, I will delete that as I don't like the clutter. So if they're from one of those websites, or maybe just found my account in general as I do post in Flickr groups sometimes, could have swipped them off there to use. Though, no clue what the point in using them to post an ad on Chomper or who or where from the person who did it may have came off of, but hopefully it'll get removed if not already and can move off this silliness.

Ugh. That really is crappy. I've clicked on pictures from various forums (even those I wasn't a member of) and been taken directly to that persons flickr where I could have easily downloaded pictures.

However, even if you were studding out Chomper, and even if everyone thought it was a bad decision, posting anonymously on a forum targeting you is crappy and I'm sorry it happened.
