I want to buy a new collar for Merlin but he already has one of every kind so I can't justify it.

Why does ruffwear have to remove items seasonally? So rude. I need stuff.

Got a first world gripe? post it.

I want to hike with my dogs today. Can't because I have to study. Again, the woe.

I want a customized leather collar for Abrams. But he doesn't wear collars except for going out, and most of those times he's swimming/being gross. Can't justify the money for just once every few months. Booo.

For forever?? WOE!
Not even a rolled one??

Gosh, I feel you a bit on that one harnesses are so much less fun to buy.
I can do some super thin ones that don't break coat and just have her wear it periodically. But still not as fun

I wanted a purple beta biothane collar for Roxie. DogWalkies is having a sale on beta biothane, and then isn't making them for a while.

No more purple in her size. So I ended up with a baby blue one. (Not that bad, actually. Roxie looks good in blue) But no standard leashes are left in any colors that I want :(

Uh. Yeah.

I want to buy more collars but I only have one dog. He literally doesn't need ANY more collars. But but but. Want. So I kind of want another dog. So I can buy even more dog things and feel like I can justify them more LOL... no but really, I want another dog sooo bad but then at the same time I don't because my life is a lot easier and cheaper with one.

I loved having 1 dog when I was single. Sometimes I wish we still only had one. But it is fun to buy for everyone.

Just don't get a spouse. You get disapproving looks at the withdrawals of hundreds of dollars for dog jewelry. :p

Just convince your spouse to give the dogs their own checking account. It helps you budget better, I swear. ;) LOL
Actually this is basically the plan with the SO and I. Next year we're making the leap and have decided to also keep separate accounts for our hobbies. This way we can budget our hobbies without needing to ask over the purchase of things or risking messing up the household finances.

Yeah it's definitely easier having one as a single girl who enjoys bringing him places/travel. But so many breed wants, so little time. Argh.

And LOL...

Dekka and I went on a 7.3 km walk along the lakeshore yesterday. It was perfect and I even took my good camera.

Can't share the pics as I can't find my card reader.

You all NEED to see my Dekka pics, and I can't share them :(

ETA:

Breeder of soooper adorable new puppy keeps sending me little videos and pictures. But I have to wait till the last weekend in Oct before I can go get him.

That's why we did it too - means I don't have to wonder whether buying that new thing is going to mess the monthly budget up and it's easier to see how I'm spending on trial entries, too. This is the first full year we've had a separate account and it's been great!
