The silver lining of Michael's grandmother passing?

We are headed up to Indiana Wednesday. And I get to be a part of a family get together on Saturday. Will be nice to see family again. :)

I got a really nice $25 pair of jeans for $2 yesterday. An extremely popular (and douchey) "rock star" had a line of clothing in our store that was not selling well at all. So they are phasing all his clothes out super cheap.

Just over a week before my Rockies tattoo. HUZZAH! I'm so stoked. It's been over two years since my last ink.

I'm thinking about trying to get my heart horse's tattoo done as well. It's fairly small, so I'm hoping he can just squeeze it in.

I'm gonna need more body space someday to fit all these animals.

I have insomnia because I'm thinking of all the things. May as well stay up now, I have to head to work in about 3.5 hours.

I'm being so productive! Got financial aid stuff sent in for next year, got my class stuff all figured out, and got some tattoo stuff achieved!

Classes- only 25 left!! WHOO! I can finish in 4-5 years depending on how many summer courses are available. THE EXCITE GUYS! I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE SO MUCH LONGER.

Also, this happened. I posted an "I need help" picture to use a marking from my horse to incorporate into his name for a tattoo. My awesome friend sketched this up and it is EPICANDAMAZING. I love it and I think it will translate super well. Sorry it's big from FB.

I'm happy. Decided on a program I'm really interested in persuing, and will be starting classes soon. Other good things are coming through, I have a potential light at the end of the tunnel, and I'm just.. Happy.

Yes. This is nice. I like this feeling.

I finally got a copy of "Control Unleashed" and am SO excited to start training with it. Hugo won't tear off to see a dog far away, or yank at the leash, but he's so distracted in any place other than the yard outside my apartment that I was really struggling to get him to focus on me outside. I tried It's Your Choice, Leave It games and Look At That! but I just felt like I was lacking guidance on pacing and how to really read when he was approaching threshold, so he was making very little proofing progress. I read all of the beginning theory stuff, as well as the first two nights classes work and I think this is really going to work for us. I'm pumped!

That being said, if anyone has anything advice related the curriculum and wanted to share it, I would love to hear it!

I have a working interview next week at a grooming place in town. I told her the salary I was looking for and she just said "okay" and then proceeded to set me up for a working interview. So... I guess that's good because it sounds like the salary will be okay. I probably won't get health insurance but since mine sucks so bad where I am, it doesn't make a huge difference. I'll probably just have to look into getting something private.

I'm not really sure how I feel about this. It's not what I picture myself doing but... I'm not totally opposed to the idea either... so... hm.

I think I'm officially the luckiest person in the world. I remember watching The Incredible Dog Challenge on TV, hoping that I would be good enough to compete there one day. Ya... I was one of the freestyle judges today!!! Holy crap you guys.

Well I did the "irresponsible" thing and put in my notice at work so that I can devote all of my time to my business and training my own dogs. Woo!!! Hoping this all works out :D
