The Venting Thread

I am so upset with my sister right now.

She has two unvaccinated dogs that are currently living outdoors in a kennel. The male is intact, the female I pray to God is spayed. She has six (SIX!) young cats all living in one bedroom (maybe the size of a small studio apartment). Not vaccinated. Unsure if they're even altered. And she just took in a two day old orphaned kitten. Has some idea what she's doing with it, but not really. I tried to explain to her why this kitten needed to be in an experienced foster home, she just shrugged me off. God dang it, I couldn't even raise Apollo by myself (my mom bottle fed during the day while I was at work/in classes) and he got I'll around 2.5 weeks and would have died had I not provided prompt veterinary/knew what to look out for. She has NO business raising this kitten when she won't even get up in the mornings to take her **** dogs out to pee because "she's tired".

WHY DES SHE KEEP GETTING ANIMALS WHEN SHE CAN'T EVEN AFFORD/PROVIDE BASIC CARE FOR HER CURRENT ANIMALS.

My poor parents are stuck with the decision of either just accepting it and doing nothing or removing the animals themselves, which will ruin all ties with my sister and cause her to likely live on the streets or with her lying, stealing, drug using friends.

So FURIOUS with her. She tries to send me pictures of them, or show me videos, and I've just stopped even responded. I will not say, "Oh, what a cute kitten" when it needs to NOT be with her. Period.

I just don't know what to do.

Also, coworkers. God dammit, I should not have to put on armor of steel and boxing gloves to get through the day. I've been bitched at and too almost more than I can stand.

I'm seriously thinking about looking for another job. But how do I know another place won't be the same, or worse? And I just got comfortable here, too.

And the bank we have the car loan through is being a giant pain in the ass. I need to call and bitch at the dealership that sold us the car for quite a few things and I'm worried they're not going to man up and make amends. The GAP insurance for our dead Honda is STILL not taken care of. We have no money. I have to put up with my father in law as a house guest for at least five days at the end of the week and i domt even know how I'm going to feed him, or entertain him. I have a cold coming on and dont feel well.

RAWR.

Also my new group is SUPER quiet. I don't know if I can handle it long term. Ugh it's only been 2 days I need to be patient. But I'm bored already.

Annnnd I have two giant mosquito bites on my leg and they are turning purple around the outside of them. I am pretty sure that is a bad sign. I took allergy pills because I'm allergic to them (skeeter syndrome) and yesterday it was swollen to baseball sized. But I don't think I've ever had one turn purple before.

I'm just sad. I found out in January that my parent's were getting divorced. In May it was finalized, apparently, and my mom kicked my dad out of the house yesterday. It's just so final and sad now. They've been hanging out more than ever since the beginning of the divorce and I actually never thought they'd go separate ways. I just hate it and I hate that they're both so unhappy with their lives.

I'm mad as sh*t. And really sad.

Someone, I am pretty sure no one from Chaz, has told our breeder that my parents were getting our cat declawed.

It isn't that I mad about not getting the kitten. It's that I'm afraid of what will happen if my parents found out it was my fault, because I made threads about declawing our kitten.

I feel like completely horrible right now. I have so much guilt right now,& I just can't deal with all of it. I feel worthless.

My dad comes home tomorrow,& I'm scared. Scared of what will happen if he finds out. I might not be able to come here, if they find out it was me.

Ask admins to delete your threads on whatever forums it's posted on.

Is it possible that it was someone you know in RL? I know you mentioned asking in other places I think, I don't really go to any other sites but I don't think you posted where you were getting the pet from on here?



I'm kind of annoyed tonight because freaking Lizard Squad took twitch down and I was looking forward to a laid back evening watching it :/

I know people mean well but sometimes they need to stay out other other people's business. I know when I was going through the thing about calling on my friend I did end up calling but someone from here had already contacted them.

I don't think people sometimes realize that online not all details are always given and calling with half information can some times do more harm than good.

Yeah, this is why I started winding down my online presence. I still like to post & chit chat but I try to keep the personal stuff to a minimum. I've seen waaaaay more of this than I care for. I can understand where the other side is coming from, but really it's an online forum... It should stay that way.

I dunno, I think the post was posted on a cat forum too? And dog forums which is a huge forum. So it could have been from anywhere.

I really get irked when people do things like this especially when minors are involved. Not only is it not their place but Jazzy is the one that has to deal with the consequences. She's still a minor living with her parents.

I just really don't think it's good to ask teens and kids to go behind their parents.

The more I get involved in the dog world the more people I know in RL find Chaz. It's awkward sometimes. I've definitely stopped posting certain things. Especially in regards to breeders. The dog world is smaller than you'd think and you can get yourself in trouble.

Speaking of the dog world smaller I've been meaning to ask you. Do you ever go to shows or stuff in Tulsa. There's a lady I work with who is a HUGE pappillon fan and I always wonder when she talks about her dog if you know her lo.

Yup. This. And views or situations can change or easily be taken out of context. I've actually gone farther though and have pretty much taken everything down or made it private to only be shared with people I know in RL.

I don't go to Tulsa too often. I know a few of the Tulsa folk from trials and we went to k9 manners and more for our ORT. There's only one agility papillon lady I know. I think she trains with the NADAC group... I'm not sure what their training facility is called though! Or where they're located....She does TDAA a lot and has a bunch of rescue paps.

It's tough to say who it was and which forum, and it's unfair to say "well it was someone from this, or that one" because we just don't know.

But still it was a rotten thing to do

I did remove all of my pictures,& info. Hopefully, that will help in not being found.

There's one possibility of someone in RL knowing. But, as far as I am aware, she didn't know that we were declawing our kitten. I'm pretty sure it isn't her. But, that's who my parents think it is. Which just sucks.

Yep. They really do. I mean,I understand the reason beyond it, but , I just don't find it acceptable .

Trying to look on the bright side. It isn't easy,at all. Right, now I just feel guiltily that I post the thread. I had that gut feeling " don't do it". I ignored, of course, because I want to get advice. I was fine with getting "yelled" at, I was fine with getting correct, having people not agree with me, all of this are okay with me. But, when you go,& email the breeder about.

Hopefully, he won't find out. Freaks me out that will find out it's my fault,& of what will happen.

I have to bake 3 cakes and one batch of chocolate chunk cookies. I love baking... but not THIS much.

I'm also in the midst of starting a food blog and collecting recipes - so I have to take pictures as I go. >.<
