...who is willing to try things!

Cajun had her last agility class today:

(This was at the end of class and I was super uncoordinated and kept dropping treats... hence the occasional distractions)

3 weeks ago she wouldn't do the chute without someone holding her at the opening while I called her through. 2 weeks ago she wouldn't do the boardwalk (she didn't even have the coordination to stand on the stupid thing without falling off). Up until TODAY, she wouldn't go more than halfway up the teeter and then would jump off. I'm super happy that she put everything together and by the last class was able to do every piece of equipment!

I just love that every week she continued to chip away at things. Even if she got spooked, fell off of something, whatever, she was willing to get back at it and not be held back. She can be pretty nervy and quirky at times and that sucks BUT it is a nice change for me to have a dog that I can "do" things with. :)

As a comparison, Juno has taken this class twice, and was actually more unsure of herself the 2nd time through. And with her, if she spooks, that's it - she's done. And if she is cautious about something, good luck convincing her to try it. Cajun is a PITA but she is pretty fun. :p
