Lightweight long lines

I'm looking for a new lightweight long leash. 50-60ft.

I currently have a 40ft biothane leash and I use it and love it for getting dirty, and cleaning purposes, and while it's not *super* heavy, it's a bit too heavy for my liking when I am having Jackson drag it for playing fetch, etc. It's just too much for him to drag around IMO.

I have an old rope leash that's super ratty, but it's a lot more lightweight, so I prefer it when he's going to be dragging it around.

I'm looking for something maybe a bit more durable and nice, yet super lightweight. It's mostly going to be used in grass. But occasionally I may use on a beach/sand.

Preferably under $30 too.

But I buy them at the hardware store where they're cheaper. I think it was like $8 at the hardware store here. It's what he uses at the lake since he is supposed to be on leash there.

Michael made Abrams a 50' long line (with the ability to be shortened to 25' and 8') out of paracord and d rings purchased from the hardware store for like... $10.

If you can't find anything wholesale, he could probably make you one for the cost of supplies if you wanted. Just PM me! He can do any length, with any hardware (that can be purchased from a store), and the ability to be shortened to whatever lengths you choose.

Paracord! Lightweight, dries fast, doesn't get yucky, never been rope burned by it. I bought 50 ft for 5$ on amazon.

Boom! 100ft long line. It's nothing fancy but definitely gets the job done and I have no complaints with it. Definitely like it more than the 20ft nylon one I bought at the pet store when Juno was young.

I use the one Beanie mentioned, I love it. Not sure if it'll be as light as you want, it's lighter than biothane but not as light as paracord.

I use a light clasp recycled from an old leash with 550lb paracord as an ultra light weight puppy drag line. I can't think of anyway to go lighter than that, really. It's so light that I tie knots in the line so I have something to grab/step on if needed. The line cost about $6 off amazon for more than I needed, and the clasp was free so the price is right as well
