Being in pitch black dark and in silence. I *have* to have a TV on when I go to sleep and usually on super low volume. If I don't have a TV, I usually fall asleep with my computer playing something. If I'm just laying there, in silence, in pitch black dark room, I CREEP myself out. I start picturing like, ghosts, floating around in my room or something lurking in the corners. LOL. I'm weird.

Sharks are probably my most irrational fear. I pretty much never go into open water at ALL, so my odds of getting bitten/attacked by one are slim to none. Either way SCARY.

Spiders creep me the eff out too.

I HATE driving in any kind of inclement weather and driving at night isn't my fav either. I just have this fear of car crashes, I have super bad anxiety about it ever since I was IN a car accident a few years back.

This actually sounds like the lineup for my wife's dream "B" movie :rofl1:

Flying spiders vs Sharknado at night.
Hahaha oh my word. I could play the bimbo that does the really stupid stuff in the movie like the girl that checks
Out weird noises in te dark yard at night when there is a mass murderer on the loose lol.

To add to my list... Being without my husband. The nightmares are few and far between now but they used to be frequent. I would have dreams that I had to move away and my ex would force himself into my home and I can't get away from him and no matter how much I try to call Brian, I just can't dial the number properly and I'm stuck.

Ticks, strangers, spiders touching me (I can look at them and admire them all day long, but unless it's a tarantula, I freak if they touch me,) SCREAMER PRANKS, gore, other things I can't think of. I am a very fearful person.

My biggest fear is losing people I love, especially my S/O. I can barely even type that without getting anxious.

My weirdest fear is corn. Corn on the cob is okay, but loose corn kernels, especially when they're in other food, freak me out. I have literally had dreams where I am surrounded by corn, thrown into a vat of corn, and, worst of all, been forced to eat corn, and I wake up gagging and about to throw up. It's ridiculous.

Bridges

Thunderstorms/hurricanes/tornadoes

ET - the movie itself and the thing from the movie

Being alone in my house - luckily the dogs have helped with that

Open windows - I need curtains closed on everything even during the day

Certain textures freak me out - like I cannot stand the thought of someone chewing on paper towels or cotton EWWWWWWW

Spiders. Spiders. And spiders. Oh, and centipedes.
Like, it's sad the lengths I go to protect myself from them. My bed does not touch the wall, at all. Because a spider is less likely to crawl into my bed this way or something. And also, I don't care how deathly hot it is, I HAVE to wear long pants and socks to sleep because if a spider got in my bed, I can't possibly have it touch my skin (let's ignore the logical fact that my arms/face are still exposed).

Silence at night I can't handle. White noise all the way.

I've always had a fear that someone is going to break in my bedroom window. Even as a kid when my room was upstairs, I thought it totally plausible that someone would carry a ladder with them and climb up to my window. Now that my room is on the ground floor, I worry more - especially now that my car was broken into, right on the driveway. This solidifies to me that people are out creepin' in my yard.

Ok I'll add greys to this list, they freak the crap out of me, I think I watched too much I solved mysteries as a child. Seriously, the ONLY movie I have never been able to make it through entirely is Communion, I can watch fire in the sky, but only because I have seen the end, but communion, nope, not gonna happen.

Oh and it became a joke to my dad so he would randomly draw them for me, one time he drew one on an envelope and put it right in front of my face while I was napping and woke me up...yep still have nightmares, and it was like 25 years ago lol.

Someone reaching out from under my bed and grabbing my ankle. Yup haha.
This is my fear when I'm standing next to the bed... When I'm actually on it it's ok. I rationally know there is no one under the bed... But my heart still races Everytime my feet are next to the underside. I'm also afraid of someone coming into my room while I sleep. I position myself to be able to watch the windows/door/closet without having to move. I'm super paranoid I guess. :-/

I'm also afraid of spiders or centepede/millipede type bugs and will literally shreak if they touch me.

Other than that... Messing up at work and guys with long finger/toenails. I don't envision them flipping over or anything... I just find them plain creepy. I feel like guys should have "manhands"--short nails and callaused/muscular hands. I realize that's very stereotyping... But I can't help it! When I see long nails and slender, soft hands... I think vampire/serial killer. No idea why. So yeah... They creep me out. HaHa.

Clowns. I think because of the wig and the face paint. I can't see who they are. We went to Kennedy Space Center last year and I apparently am afraid of Astronauts. For some reason the whole body space suit and the reflective face mask scared the bajesus out of me.

I am afraid of marinas, like if we drive up to the boat ramp? Terrified we will somehow wind up in the water in the truck and won't be able to get out.

Red light cameras at intersections. If the light turns yellow trying to make that split second decision if you should slam on your brakes to stop and risk getting rear ended or risk speeding up to go through the intersection.and possibly getting a ticket for not making it all the way across by the time the light turns red.

Shots/Needles

Spiders

Parasites (internal/external)

Maggots (litterally just almost puked typing that)

Most bugs if there are a ton of them together or if they are on me.

My house catching on fire (when I was a child my neighbors house burned down and the fire was so hot it melted the mini blinds in my bedroom and had this sick smell that if I smell it, I panic)

And honestly I'm most afraid of losing the people I love (dying/leaving me of their own choice).

Mummies would probably be my biggest irrational fear. They freak me out so bad. If I have to see one in a film or in real life I will not sleep for days. Sucks because I find Egypt and Egyptology really fascinating.

I hate loud noises and one of the best ways to get me anxious is to hand a balloon to a kid. Ugh. I hate it. They have them all the time at my nieces birthdays and there's like a billion kids and the fan is on and they let the balloons go or the kids jump on them and squeeze them.... nightmare.

Fireworks. I also dislike fireworks a lot.

Oh yes, to clarify, only when I'm standing next to it and the lights are off. I actually sleep with one foot on the floor a lot lol. Totally contextual. CURSE THE SIXTH SENSE

yeah that always freaks me out lol. I watched this stupid scary movie one time called campfire stories or something like that and this one story in it was about this girl who was chatting with someone online and then he stalked her. At night her dog slept under her bed and she would put her hand down so the dog would lick her hand. Well this guy broke in and when she put her hand down for the dog, lightning flashed and the mirror said "people can lick too" and he was under her bed... licking her hand. :yikes: needless to say... I would catapult myself off my bed for a long time after that lol

Another thing I just thought of... Balloons. I hate them. not the mylar ones... those are fine but he latex rubbery ones that always pop. UGH I hate popping balloons. Apparently I had a balloon blow up in my face at my cousins first birthday party (I was almost 1 year old) and I've been nervous about them ever since lol
