Today ended up being rainy. So we went to TSC and are headed to the breeders to hang out for a bit.

I got to play with the puppies last weekend!
They turned 8 weeks old yesterday, and the puppy I have been lusting over was available! Next week I will have a puppy. :yikes:
The breeder took 8 week old pictures, but they are only on facebook. You can see the first 3 weeks here: http://www.shalakoaussies.com/PuppiesShalako.html
Now I need to buy a bunch of puppy stuff, and have the talk with Prim. I think she is used to being the only-dog.

I so wanted a pup from this litter but life, as has been the case the last three times I've gone after a pup, has gotten in the way and it's just not going to work.

It would have been so cool to have another Kip-Rogue puppy on the forum. I will try to share a bunch of photos so you can watch him grow. I just need to learn how to photograph a black dog.
I have a feeling that the performance pick of this litter I've been eyeing is going to be the only pup that is on husband's "do not want" list (because of color)
Hoping things change in the next four weeks!!!!! Because I will either bring home off color puppy and have husband hate the dog or not get a puppy till winter. Wahhhhhhh

Fireworks on the 4th were no big thing. We are wading in pools and loving the hose. She went through a small growth spurt a few days ago and was totally out of it and didn't feel good. Feeling better now!! We've begun playing with the flirt pole. ERMERGERD THE LOVES.

Groot came home yesterday!
I can already tell that he is going to be a harder puppy than Prim, but I think I'm going to have more fun this time around. (I was so stressed with Prim!)
I will eventually get around to posting more photos - and starting a bunch of threads about all of my training challenges - hah!
