My friend has a young Cavalier King Charles spaniel Lotta. She told me to write in this forum because this forum seems nice and she needs advice on dog training because she doesn't have a person yet who could advice her.

My friend would like to find a person who could discuss about dog training with her. She has a problem that she cannot always apply instructions with her dog. My friend would need help with this. In other words, she's looking for like a friend with whom she can talk about dog training in this forum. One of the ideas of how it would work in practise would be that we would discuss in some thread about something. So, is there someone who would be interested in it? It doesn't need to be only one person.

I find youtube videos very helpful if you are having trouble with the idea of something. Kikopup is a great resource to start with!

In the previous message we told that:

Like we told, my friend is looking for one or more person/s with whom she could discuss about dog training in this forum. She can't have similar discussion for example in youtube because 1) One can put only short comments there. 2) Trainers may be busy.

I can't help her by myself, because I used to have different kind of dog than Lotta.

So, is there someone who would be interested in it?

Honestly, based on all of your posts here so far, I think your friend would heavily benefit with lessons from a dog trainer in person compared to asking in forums. There isn't really an easy way to do what you're asking. This is a casual forum where we come to further discuss the stuff we're doing in real life. Our threads are focused on discussion and conversation. What you're asking for is someone to have dedicated conversations with your friend, to walk her through training her dog, and that is something a dog trainer is paid to do.

People are helping your friend in various threads across the forum, but it sounds like communication is being lost in translation. You can certainly keep posting and asking for advice, but so far the communication hasn't seemed to make its way through. It would likely be much easier for your friend to work with someone in person. Many trainers are accustomed to working with dog owners with various disabilities.

That is not the case. We have just written about it in this thread: My friend and Aspergers
Follow the link in our signature. You can/should tell us if there is something you don't understand.

My friend has taken Lotta to courses and she is going to take Lotta to them again as soon as she can. She would like to discuss about dog training in this forum until then.

My friend would mostly like to discuss about it and she also needs advice on dog training. She would need help/advice with these:

1) in figuring out what to teach to Lotta.
2) if she already knows it, then how to teach it. It is ONLY IF my friend doesn't find that kind of information by herself. Then it would be enough if you would put links to somewhere.
3) if my friend already knows what to teach and how for example take and drop
a) she tries something and it doesn't work then what she could try next.
b) For example: if she watches a tutorial about something, she doesn't always know how she should apply that with Lotta.

If you would be interested in discussing for example about take and drop we had linked a tutorial (from Pamela Johnson) in the page 2. We tried to ask questions about it. My friend would now like to get answers to them.
