Thank you all. Injuries and all, I feel blessed. She is going to be okay.
Just got off the phone with my mom, Boo is on her way home from the vet wearing a cone and still quite doped up. She lost more weight than I originally realized (had no clue how fat she'd been before she got out) - about 15 pounds. Vet gave her some liquid something and she's allowed to eat a smaller portion of her regular dinner tonight.
Apparently she was also quite infested with ticks, so I'll have to make sure the family keeps on top of checking her because I'm sure they missed quite a few at the vet.
I think I posted it before, but she does not have any long bone fractures or organ damage, although her left foot is fractured and she tore a several inch flap of skin off of her leg. I haven't seen any pictures, not sure how bad it is, but it appears that other than the fractured foot, most of her leg wounds were skin wounds rather than internal injuries. They're not sure why she has mouth ulcers unless she got into something that she ought not to have been eating. But her blood work is okay, so the don't think she ate anything toxic. They said to "watch her," but also that that her behavior will be weird for the next few days if just because of the injuries and meds.
The neighbors put "welcome home" balloons on our mailbox. They are kind people.
I begged my brother to send me a photo. If he does, I will post when I receive it. Also - her collar did stay on. Although the woman that found her had seen the flyers and emails, the fact that her collar served its purpose makes me thankful.
