The sun is shining, the temps are perfect (about 55 degrees) and the windows are OPEN airing out the winter funk in this house lol. Drove home with the windows down. Ahhhh so nice.

Slept til noon, sun shiny day, in the 70s, IHOP with BeAu. Took Zander out to the park. It's been a lovely day off.

Waiting for my hair to dry from bleaching it, (super red FTW), and watching RAW in the meantime. BeAu is supposed to be on around 8:30 - 8:45, so that'll be cool. Then finish dying my hair, do my nails, and have fun with a lonely girly night for once.

Good times, good times. If only I had alcohol to sip on.

Oh wait. Chocolate wine.

Winning.

I passed my 2nd exam... 2 more exams and 1 more practical in 21 days...

Also, there's a costco opening up close to where I live... I applied there for a job. It'd be nice to not have to drive so far for a part time job... bonus if the customers aren't mean to me. haha. This is the times I really miss my Sbux job, so much fun there.

Everyone I know who has worked at Costco has actually really enjoyed it. At least here in Canada, you get really good pay (and benefits) and the work environment is very much a positive one. :)

Yeah, I hear that about the Costcos here too. I don't personally know anyone who works there but I always hear great things about them in the news and such. Fingers crossed they hire me! Otherwise next stop is home depot to seek employment.

I really like my current job-but the customers are too much after a while and some of the internal dynamics can be exhausting. I think I'll just stay here seasonal until I move next year though. I REALLY loved working at Sbux, but when I had to move it was just way to far. :-/

This beauty is FINALLYYYYY on her way to me right NOW! I bought her back in January, but the weather has been too cold so the breeder couldn't ship her. Now she finally is on her way and I get to see her tomorrow. I am beyond ecstatic.

Excellent weather out today. A whole 50 deg. Tomorrow it's supposed to be like 20 again, though... oh well. So much walking that my legs could barely carry me to work, lol.

Roxie was my shadow the entire time we were out walking this afternoon. It was funny, because she'd jump over puddles, walk in my foot prints behind me if I walked in the grass or snow, etc... but if I walked plainly on the sidewalk and there was a puddle, she wouldn't try to go over it. Maybe I'm just easily amused by that. I thought it was funny.

Got my new Rocksound mag and cd. Good songs on the cd. Haven't cut into the magazine yet though, because I've been reading threads since I got home.

Also got a bunch of egg rolls and more food. I love egg rolls.

OMG she is here and she is perfect. Photos seriously do NOT do her justice. She has so much pink on her.

She did strike at me once when we pulled her out to check that she arrived healthy and make sure she isn't too warm or cool. She is just a little stressed though and should be fine after she has about a week to settle.

The husky I brought to animal control a couple weeks ago thankfully was claimed by his owner, which I know because he ended up in my front yard again :p This time he had a collar on though so I was able to give them a call, and luckily it also had his address on it so when they didn't answer their phone, I was just gonna walk him over.... turns out he's just from like 3 houses down. The snow banks are so high that he's able to get on one and easily hop over the fence.

But anyway, I'm glad to know he ended up home safe and sound, you never know if people are going to think to contact AC for their missing pet. And my thought is that if he gets out in the future, he's just gonna come this way because we give him all sorts of attention lol.

I'm really excited to be going home in 2-3 weeks and be reunited with my family, other pets, and most importantly, COPPER.

I MISS COPPER SO MUCH.

I can't decide if this is really good or bad news but I think I am going to submit and application at the local corrections facility for a nursing position. I love my job almost all the time and have been there seven years but its not safe. At least at the jail you have a guard there.

I'd only take it if it was days(there are two positions available and it does not say shift) and the pay was about the same. I'd take a little cut to feel safer and be on all days.

My favorite coworker and one of my best friends is in hospice and obviously won't be there when I go back from my maternity break. All kinds of drama going on i get calls about. Just feel like a new start would be good. I just worry I won't have the great coworkers I have now and I feel respected and needed there. Just ugh!

In other news we did end up getting our wood floors in and even ended up redoing a bathroom. House is all ready to move in. Just need to get our barn moved and fence up if it would stay above freezing a bit lol!
