I figured I'd give you an idea of what to expect in say, four months. ;)

By the time your border collie is six months old, hopefully you will have taught it to lie down. If not, you should probably get on that. We worked on that today. ;)

It will also have done so many horrible, death defying acts that when it scales a sheer rock face, instead of screaming, you will just photograph it.

If you haven't invested in one of these chuckit balls with a handle, do so. It's a tug, it's a ball, it's the bees knees.

It will do what it likes with it's ears, kthx (hehehe I actually like the crazy bat ears, we'll see if they end up full prick like this ;D)

Your dog may bring a giant stick towards you at a gallop. DO NOT ASSUME THEY WILL STOP! (I got a branch to the head).

And then, your dog may decide to go ice fishing

and proceed to realize picking up a chunk of ice MAKES YOUR MOUTH REALLY COLD. REALLY.

And then stare at the pinecone in the middle of the ice, hoping to make it move closer with their eyes (the ice was easily cracked, only a couple inches deep, but Feist was wimpy)

And with any luck, they'll be pretty darn good looking :D

And here's a video!

That's all, thanks for looking!

These threads are starting torture me. I want a Border Collie puppy, really bad.

He's starting to grow up, & he's getting handsome while he's at it. ;)

And they DON'T grow out of that "finding the biggest stick ever and bolting towards you" stuff!
I have to be on constant guard because nearly 8 year old Cobain loves to parade down the middle of the path with a stick that barely fits between the trees.
Or that death defying stuff, that stays around too. I've got a shot of Cobain looking like he's walking right off a cliff with that ridiculous grin on his face. If other people were around to see it they would have been terrified...but there I was with the camera instead haha.

Gah, this is just making me want a Border Collie pup more and more lol.

Feist is growing into such a gorgeous pup!
Loving the ears right now!

Ah no worries, and that is a terrifying picture lol!

As it were, I did have some more I forgot to post. ;)

Your puppy will probably start to stick out their tongue at you at about this age, and there may be grass on it

They will make a srs face until you give. them. the. toy.

and seek assistance for getting the pinecone

and they will pose as if to say ONE STEP CLOSER AND YOU GET THE KARATE PUPPY KARATE CHOP

This was so cute. I want to make one for all the Vizsla own- wait a second. I'm the only one.
same with Chows. But I'm the only one, I think, and it would just be a bunch of photos of sleeping dogs and skeptical dog faces
