Serious JRT puppy wants. Heck, I want a whole pack of JRTs. I shall have one called Dean, though for sure. Might as well just go naming more dogs before I get them. Like that Patterdale I want named Nykyrian.

Just so much puppy want right now. Aaaahhhhhhhhhh

Blossom needs a backpack for spring/summer but the good ones are expeeeeensive and the cheap ones aren't supposed to be worth buying.

New coworker knows all there is to know about dogs, apparently. I disagree with her on a few topics but don't feel the need to make black and white statements.

When I mentioned I wanted to dabble in agility she remarked something like "My dogs are my pets and they don't need to do any of that."

Okay?

She's just a general know it all but damnit I like to talk about dogs.

So I can see over the couch and where Mia is right now. She has one piece of kibble and one of my high heels. She's repeatedly attempting to drop the kibble in my shoe then picking it up and rinse/repeat.

Weirdo.

"Well my dog doesn't "need" to do it either. She does however, need a job and it makes her happy and me happy and we enjoy doing it".

I get so irritated with that attitude.

My mom is working from home today which is always nice because then my boys aren't home alone. Got this text from her: "riff is the clown dog of all time. he pulled one of the [dog] beds between the 2 chairs and is running around the house jumping over it with a bone in his mouth. so funny!"

He built his own indoor agility course, haha!

There are some bluffs across the lake from my house that have high avalanche danger (and the highway runs underneath them), so often in the winter they get bombed.

Jasper LOSES HIS MIND! They are bombing right now and he is practically sitting in my lap, shivering. Poor dude.

Thankfully, Onyx and Yarrow don't care at all. Onyx will just chill out, or keep on training or tugging or whatever without batting an eye as the whole house shakes and windows rattle. Good girl!

So not only did Watson steal Sabe's wallet last night...but he also picked my pockets while I was watching TV :yikes:

My dog is an accomplished criminal...

Got home feeling bummed...as soon as I sat on the couch Abrams was in my lap and cuddled.

I love my dog. I could not have gotten through these past 7 months without him.

Now he's running around the living room with a blanket on his head and a bone in his mouth. I reiterate, I love my dog.

Omg she just said mutts are healthier than purebreds.

Lol.

We might have some issues.

She does feed a high quality food so she does know a bit but... making snide remarks about purebred dogs is going to get old quick.

I love Scamp. Put him in my car at 10 this morning. Picked someone up, went to the shelter, left him the car while I signed forms to sign up for dog walking. Took him to the pet store, then left him in the car with a hoof while I got lunch. Went back to the shelter to actually walk dogs, leaving him in the car again. Then took him to my grannies where he chilled out all day, took him for a quick walk in a strange neighbourhood and then left him in my grannies house while we went for dinner and he took it all in his stride. Nothing seemed to phase him. He was perfectly happy to spend the day just chilling out. I love how I can just throw that all at him and he just bounces along wanting to know what we're doing next. Even if that just involves him chilling while I'm busy.
