Dodger is really handsome...I don't think we see enough of him :). Is he a purebred Lab? (I should probably know the answer to that but don't, sorry)
Aww thanks!! I'm not certain if he's purebred or not. He was caught chasing stock down in Iowa as a young hooligan and so I've always just said he's a purebred farm lab :p

He has one black and one white front leg... I guess that is kind of funky for a mostly black dog.

Henry is your pretty standard black and tan. His black is fantastically dark and shows no seal, though, which I think is cool. He has one small white spot on his chest.

All of Rhys's white has tan freckles. They're very tough to see but adorable.

He has a full white collar and chest, but a spotty chin.

And a big neck spot as well. I wish it was on his show side!

And his nose stripe!

Emily has ticking on all of her toes. She also has white ticks/zigzag marks going up her front legs. Her father has urajiro markings and I wonder if it's related.

The ONLY white Pirate has on his body is this small dime sized spot on his chest.

Yep, that.

Hudson doesn't really have any strange markings, but look at how the white on his face has changed.

Bringing the puppies back from NC, the easiest way I could tell Hudson and his black & white brother apart was that Hudson's white went over his head and met up with his white collar

not any more

Romeo has a pigmenty lip :p.

Zoie has a weird coat color. She has ticking, and then random spots where it isn't quite as filled in. And grey/white nose, but it's not that obvious in person. It's showed up in pictures since she was a puppy.

Skye has all the spots.

When we got Tucker he had a black stripe running down his back that was super cool. Also had black on areas of his face, head, and ears.

Now it's all gone except for some on his tail and ears, and a few hairs here and there down his back (needed to find a picture of him looking dejected so his tail wasn't curled over)

If you look closely at his shoulder area here you can see some long black hairs

Otherwise he's pretty much just tan with his cheeks and lower jaw being a lighter tan than the rest of him

His chest/bib is sort of whitish, as are the insides of his legs, belly, underside of tail and between the toe hairs.

He also still sort of has speckles on his nose, you can see them better when he's wet

I love Journey's black patch on her chest.

And how she only has half a white collar. The back of her neck has a white triangle and it goes down thinly on the right side, and then the left side is black.

And I don't have any good pictures of them that I can find, but I love her nose freckles too.

And I like Dance's mittens. Her white feet goes perfectly up and around her dewclaws. So cute.

I think that's everyone's interesting markings. Everything else is pretty uniform for their breeds.

Oh, here's a picture of the white ring on Kim's back when she was a puppy. You can kind of see how black her tail was too. But the white ring is far weirder.

Webster's markings aren't so much odd as they are distinctive. Here is one of the few pics where you can see the couple white hairs ont he end of his tail.

And here's Mira's tongue spot :)

My dogs don't have anything super unusual!

Ned's feet are pretty freckley - he has one freckle on his toe, which makes his one nail black. You can see how spotty his opposite leg is too (and that weird merley line).

And of course that BIG solid marking and his solid leg (and his cute little front socks)

His nose never fully filled in. He has a little brown spot in the pink.

Quinn has two lines of freckles on either side of her nose. They look like little horns LOL.
They were really evident when she was little

I think her collar/chest marking is interesting. It's very symmetrical and has big "wings" that go to (and slightly over) her shoulders.

I think it's cute that her back socks are not very "smooth". They are really jagged and wild looking - like a sabino horse!

I was going through old shots of Rigby, and apparently it's not just progressive tanning, but also ticking.

This is her the day before I got to bring her home in 2011. You can see her neck and chest are pretty white.

Whereas here, you can see how much her chest has filled in with black spots
