I think there are more then a few tenant lovers thinking the same things to themselves right now, silently because will probably never admit it. I don't have a <3 <3 doctor, I love all of them for different reasons, they are all different.
4 was my favorite, but I'm pretty sure 11 nudged his way to the top, sticking 10 into 3rd place.

The new guys have all been great, but they can't take the places of first Baker, and Davison for me. :)

OMG I made it ALL THE WAY through Day of the Doctor without crying my first time through...until that. That was the end of it :'( It doesn't help that he looks ancient and we all know he's all too mortal *sniff*

I've been listening to Tom's radio casts and such since the reboot, and to have him appear in the special was such a treat that I just couldn't handle it. I was blubbery.

I keep forgetting that we lost River, too :'(

This mourning for a character process...it's kind of pathetic...but OH THE FEELS.

I've been distracted from Who by Sherlock, but that's over in a week :/

ETA: Also, that's like...a series a day...13ish episodes a day...WELCOME TO THE FANDOM! :rofl1:

at the end of the adipose episode, rose is looking for the doctor, at that point lord only knows how she got her image to cross over, but WHY. shes got her doctor, the damaged part human doctor, probably married by now n ****. why is she looking for him across the dimensions?

and i was really disappointed by how they handled the scene with donna at the end, i felt like it was a really good scene on the doctors part, giving name to what he needs, opening up that he never ever does, what hes looking for and is never going to find, and it just turned into an embarrassing flareup of stupid ape misunderstanding. i have always disliked donna and that made me want to reach through and smack her

The Adipose episode come before the Journeys's End, and Journey's End is where the meta-crisis Doctor happens, so she actually didn't have her other Doctor yet. Still, though, I hate Rose.

I liked Donna. She has her moments, but overall, I liked the contrast.

I can't stand Amy. Ugh. So much screaming. "DOCTORRRR WHAT DO I DOOOO? AHHHHHHHHH" No. Just no.

good point, i watched them all at once so the timeline blurs in my head a little

hate donna. love love love rose. neutral on all the other companions. rory and amy were kind of different, being a couple independent of the doctor

donna stood around helplessly screaming "WHAT DO I DOOOOOOO" a lot too. i think they all did, at one point or another. honestly except for bits where they commanded more power than him (rose, donna), they were all pretty much extensions of the doctors will and plan and brain. he always knew more, thinks faster, reacts faster, plans faster, and is better. hes more than a little in love with the human race as a whole is the only reason he keeps companions around. and the mental balancing act he does all the time, but in straight up battle or crisis none of the companions were anything more than "go there do this" and another set of hands for HIM. a bit of a stereotype, but what are you gonna do when canon has established timelord mental and physical superiority
