The Arf on the Shelf

A couple months ago, I jokingly told the guys at work I should get one of those creepy little Elf on the Shelf toys and do a photoblog of Elf on the Shelf with the dogs.

Then I decided I actually really did want to do it. The idea became more and more amusing as we talked about it.

So I had to find one but no way was I paying $30 for the creepy little thing. Luckily I found a girl on craigslist who was selling the one she got as a gift and never used for $10... so I drove over and picked it up and Arf on the Shelf was going to happen.

I've got almost the whole month jotted down of what I want to do. I'm trying to get the dogs in the photos from here on out whenever I can... I might actually go back and re-do some of the previous days to put the dogs in the photos. I realize technically if the dogs touch the elf he loses his MAGIC or something but oh well. Maybe that only works with humans and not dogs...

My mom& her friend HATE Elf on the Shelf so they started Grinch in a Pinch ..it's awesome to see their photos!

fOR 10 dollars that Elf better do one heck of a good pedicure. I would be thiniking a shampoo and comb out for 30. Put em to work.

An elf with a pair of nai clippers would give Neccy nightmares for the rest of her life.

I want to love these pictures, but the elf is so creepy! lol!

I know LOL. I had to stuff him into the treat jar and it was seriously giving me the heebie-jeebies the entire time I was taking the photos...

I want everybody to know that after I made the mess with toilet paper and then said "Okay Payton, come sit here!" he stood completely rooted to the spot with this look on his face that clearly said "No! But it's a mess! I'll get in TROUBLE!!"
LOL poor guy. I had to pick him up and place him in the middle of the toilet paper.

I freaking love this! I want to get my dogs an elf on the shelf now!!
