Make sure to not only save those last emails (yours & theirs), but to print them out as well. Hope the blanket is the right size.

It looks nice at least. This is it.

It does look nice! I am sorry you had to do through such a pain to get it. And I am glad the company finally did the right thing..

I am curious though, did you ever think about making it yourself? I looked online and found how they're made. Seems like it'd be pretty simple and for personal use would likely be less expensive.

According to their Facebook, the blanket is a queen size. I ordered a full size. 30 lbs in full size is more weight per square inch than 30 lbs in queen size, and I have a full size bed and it's not supposed to hang off the edges and a queen size blanket will hang off the edges of a full size bed. Ugh. We'll see what it is when it gets here >.<
You shouldn't feel a bit guilty about keeping the blanket. But. . . if, after all this, they shipped you the wrong one? You really shouldn't feel guilty. What a cluster.

I considered it, but since there was a sale going on, it would have cost me more to buy the weighted pellets than it was for me to buy the blanket. Also, the thought of dragging a 30lb blanket through my tiny sewing machine didn't sound too appealing. I barely find time to make harnesses as it is, too (whatever happened to these 3 afternoons a week I was supposed to have free to work on harnesses? I'll be so glad when school's over...).

i LOVE the lead vests that get draped over me at the dentist. is that what a weighted blanket feels like? *intrigued*
I do too! And yeah, that's sort of the goal. A blanket will be a bit bulkier since poly pellets are lighter than lead, but that's the trade-off for a bit of increased safety.

It's here. I haven't thrown it on my bed yet, so I'm not sure what size it is yet.

It's certainly not as high quality as I expected. The pictures always show little pockets with the weighted beads so they don't shift. Well, it has those, but the backing isn't included in those pockets. It's just the front and the middle layer, and the back is only sewed on on the edges. So it's just - sort of...loose. And the pockets are a bit too big for the beads they contain, so the beads do shift within their pockets more than I expected.

I'm definitely not feeling guilty about keeping it and keeping my money.
