every day. I don't even make preprocessed meals. All our meals are home made. I do 95% of the cooking. I love to try out new recipes and create my own recipes too. We will get take out maybe once or twice a month but that is a treat and not the norm

Every night.

We don't eat frozen meals, we cook every meal from scratch. Doesn't take that long at all.

I also make soups from scratch and freeze them for lunches :)

Ok, now I feel a bit ashamed. DH is out of town and he usually cooks. I was thinking about Kraft mac n cheese for dinner but then was like, "But then I'll have to boil water and measure milk and butter and stuff--So.Much.Woooooork!!!"

I try to make a couple of different meals on Sunday so that we have plenty of food to get us through the week. It's a PITA, though... I usually wind up spending all day in the kitchen and making 3 meals; one for Sunday dinner, and two for meals during the week.

Tonight I'm making spaghetti with venison meatballs (that will be our meal for the week) and fried pork chops with rice + gravy and roasted Parmesan green beans. We can supplement with sandwiches as needed during the week.

I usually pretty much every night, but there's some cheating involved- frozen french fries some night with whatever meat we're having, and some nights I toss frozen pizza in the oven. Right now we've got wacky scheduling- I get home from work just before 4, and hubby starts work at 6PM (leaves about 5:30). Two nights a week I leave right around the same time he does for training classes. So there are also times we just skip eating before he goes to work- he'll grab something on his break and I eat what/whenever.

I cook from scratch at least 4 times a week and hope there are leftovers to take for my lunch or eat for dinner the next day.

A typical week for us might be....

Salmon, green veg, rice
Chilli from scratch (we don't buy bottled sauces) and green veg
Homemade burgers, flat mushrooms, roasted root veg
Chicken curry (from scratch!!) with rice, if it's thai curry we do use paste.
Stir fry veg, chicken, fried pak choi, rice noodles
Steak and home made sweet potato wedges, salad.
Roast chicken, green veg, roasted veg (courgette, parsnip etc, that's what we had tonight!).

Lots of low carb at moment as I'm continuing my detox (failed today though and ate chocolate!!). Well, eating starchy carbs this week, need to cut back!

Lunches are salad or soup I make (roast pumpkin/squash, thai chicken & lentil, green soup etc).

Breakfast is usally berries, Greek yoghurt and cinnamon at moment!!!

Trying, trying, trying to be healthy!!!!!!!

It's not hard to do.... But I do enjoy cooking.

Ideally I'd be homecooking every day, but this house is very cluttered, has a wonky oven, an electric stovetop which I'm not used to, etc... I'll get back to it once we are more settled.

I don't think I've ever measured the amounts of anything I put in mac n cheese..

We split who cooks. It varies by week who cooks what, how many days we cook or if we grab food out.

Hmm, I'll go with twice a week. Right now SO is often working past dinner time, and the rest of my family eats fast food almost every night. The past few nights have been pretty typical:

Pizza tonight
My mom made chicken pot pie last night, but it was like a pre-made Costco one
The night before I made BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes and stuffing
Wendy's the night before
I can't remember weds, probably soup and a sandwich
Tuesday McDonald's :(
Monday I forgot dinner
Sunday lamb burgers (homemade)

I like to cook but no one eats what I make here so I get sad and don't, plus there's not much fridge or freezer space for leftovers

Every day, here. I do pretty much all of the cooking, except when we have room mates and then it is split more often.

My cheats are frozen pizza every once in a while, if I'm just too tired to make something from scratch.

However, my OH is out of town for a couple of weeks and I absolutely love just eating cereal or snacking through meals, just because I can :p I get super lazy when I'm on my own.

Much to my surprise, the other inhabitants of the house eat exclusively frozen or prepackaged meals. Pretty freaking gross.

We cook 2 or 3 meals a week, but they're definitely full of "cheats". Tonight we made a fancy spinach/chicken pasta, but we used a premade alfredo sauce. Tomorrow we'll have tacos, but that only involves browning ground turkey and adding the seasoning packet. Later in the week, we'll have chicken made with one of those tasty kraft breadcrumb things from the dairy section of the grocery store, along with a salad kit and some rice.

A few times a month we'll make something totally from scratch. In all honesty though, neither of us enjoys eating very much, so spending so much time making food is a waste.

We eat home-cooked meals typically every night... We might make an exception on the weekends, though.

In winter, I like to cook in bigger batches so we can simply reheat and eat leftovers.

In summer, it's a lot of grilling and salads/grilled veggies.
