iOS7 users

I've ranted about this before, but my current main gripe is that the battery life on my ipad is now CRAP.

Is anyone else finding this with the update????!!!!

No, but granted I don't use mine much/charge it very frequently. I just hate it aesthetically.

No issues with battery life with mine

That's really strange, my iphone after the update actually improved in battery life. I used to be down to less than 10% at around 7-8 pm and have to rush to plug it in but now I usually still have 20-30% by 10-12 at night.

My Ipad didn't seem to have any reaction to the upgrade, but frankly the battery lasts for long enough that I probably wouldn't notice if it changed a little.

Maybe have the genius bar check your battery on your ipad to make sure it's in good condition?

Mine LOVES to decide to turn off and complain of no battery AT RANDOM, with like 30% battery left!! And then you have to keep and keep trying to turn it back on it drives me nuts it's the worst!!!

How old is your phone?

Mine did that but it wasn't the new IOS7 as I hadn't loaded it yet. The phine was just old and batteries don't last. But yeah it would randomly **** off and then after trying multiple times to turn it back on it would tell me the battery was dead but i had 75 % left.

I really have no complaints with the new IOS. I downloaded it later than everyone else though so all I had heard was how awful it was so I think I had it built up to be much worse in my mind when really it was no big deal

It's only a year old. I'm going to take it in.. It has taken a few nasty falls and dunks in water. It's covered under warranty thank goodness.

I am glad I found this lol because I have some questions too, sometimes my bookmarks like ... Disappear. Like when I try to open them if only lists the history, and the reading list :/ but when I reboot my phone it's fine.

Seriously your ipad batteries have been ok??

My ipad is less than a year old, and before the update I could go a couple of days in-between charging with pretty heavy use.

Not I can see the battery dropping hour by hour!!! For example, I set the radio as an alarm some mornings, and play it whilst I get ready. It used to drop a % or something... Not it can be up to 10%.

If I use it on a evening only (say 7pm to 10pm) it can eat up a good 40% of battery... That was unheard of before, I used to rave about how good the battery was.

And this was immediately after the update, sudden decline

I might call apple and have a whinge.

FYI, I unplugged my ipad from charge about an hour ago, I haven't been using it for an hour, I've just checked Facebook now, and come here immediately, and it's dropped 5% charge already.

Ok.... So now it's playing a song randomly on its own.......

Dizzy, I don't know if an iPad is the same as an iPhone but go to your settings and there's something called a "background app refresh" or something like that-- turn it off.

Also, make sure your days fetch is set to only every hour or manual.

I have ios7 on an iPhone 4 and I definitely need to upgrade. Soooooo slow and glitchy now.
