Soooooo much!!!

Everyone said you can't stop at one... Everyone said they're addictive... It is so true!!!!

I want another Fred :( there are so many reasons I shouldn't and can't though!!!!

#1 being we would like kids... Not too far into the future. Dog #3 would be a selfish and not very wise choice...

Also 3 dogs are harder to find sitters for when we go out or away. Fred is lively enough... Having 2 Fred's would be a bit mad.

Plus bodhi has only just forgiven me for getting Fred. Not kidding.

Not sure where we would put the 3rd bed lol

I have lots of things to try with Fred yet!!! We are only just about to start agility!

They're SO demanding!!!! Fred is SUCH a diva. But... I kind of secretly like it. I like to feel wanted by him LOL don't tell him!!!!

But, but, but!! 2 would be so much fun :D but then I'd only want 3... Then 4.....

OMG I'm addicted.

It took me 3 years to want another puppy after Quinn.

... now that it has hit me though it's all I want. Thankfully my boss is just as much of a sucker as me and through work I can often bring home babies for a night or two. At 4am when I'm standing in the backyard waiting for them to pee I am temporarily cured. For a couple of days.

The countdown is on though. I give it 18 months till I have a little one.

Foster? Raise for a service dog organization? Raise for a breeder keeping a pup back to watch?

My point is, THERE ARE OPTIONS.

I certainly know how you feel. Volunteering might work too? Going to play with/train some shelter puppies?

There aren't options!!!!

My other half is the one at home, he doesn't want to foster... If I did foster I want to foster oldies.

I live in the middle of no where!!! No shelters here, plus I don't have hours in the day as it is without taking more away from my own dogs!!!

And I want one to KEEEEP!!! Forever :D

But I also don't want to pay for another dogs food just yet, and tip the balance of things, and find alternative dog sitters when we go away, and fight off 2 giant brown lumps instead of one, and Hoover up more dog hair than I already do, aaaaaaaaaand.......

But I still do want one. And if I wasn't so sensible, I'd get one too. Going to re-evaluate our circumstances in another 12 - 18 months........

Other half has already said he'd have another, so that's no battle :D

I want a million. I'd have every room stuffed with mad brown and black dogs. I want a flashy one next. And a black one. And a girl one, and more boys ones. And, and, and, and.....

Instead I've been busying myself fundraising for gsp rescue. Raised over £200 so far :D maybe they'll give me one for free if I raise more LOL

Oh dear.... :rofl1:

I have major puppy want and it's ridiculous. I have PLANS for my current dogs, I have a 7 month old, I have a job, I DO NOT HAVE TIME for a puppy.

But....puppy. :( Maybe in a couple years.

I have total puppy want too. And I haven't wanted a puppy for a long time!

We literally talk about something puppy related every day. Boy vs girl, names, how he/she will fit with us on the couch?, will he/she cuddle with Cbone?, what will he/she look like?, will we love pup as much as Cbone? etc

It's....pathetic. But we're trying to be patient and hopeful that things will work out! In the meantime we have so many plans and goals for Crossbone & we're going to cherish single dog-dom for as long as we can!!!

You are all crazy, puppies are terrible. I'm making a list here, and if I ever want another dog from a breeder I'm going to ship the puppy to one of you for raising :p

I love puppies. I will hopefully have one coming in the next year-year and a half. :D I've wanted one for about 3 years but I'm hoping patience pays off well.

Why is it that when you have a fantastic dog you want another one so bad? I brought my puppy home in January. I want another one so bad. I love my puppy. I can do everything I want with him. I still want another one. Hopefully will be getting another one not this summer but next summer. Hopefully. :D

Add me to the list. Like the OP, we want to have a kid in the next few years and it would be so much easier to have one well behaved Watson, instead of him plus another young hellion. But I want one! My husband isn't sure he wants more than one dog ever, even after hypothetical kid is older

I think my best bet is if Watson is bred in a couple years. Even if the timing isn't perfect, I don't think my husband could resist a baby Watson.

Personally, I loved having a puppy. It's the teenage months that make me want to put him in a box and ship him to Siberia.

I understand your pain OP!

I just got Astro in late August, and I already want another. I think some of it is because Astro loves other dogs and would so adore a pal. He always wants to go home with his puppy friends at the end of playdates and classes, breaks my heart....Another part of it is that I almost put my name down for a litter this year (GSPs in fact!), and instead I got Astro. I don't regret it a bit, but having him doesn't stop me from wanting my darn GSP.

Panzer is only 6 months old and I want another puppy, a terrier puppy to be exact. Pan is a pretty easy so far. Ask me that question when he goes through maturity. But I would love another terrier pup in a few years. Panzer and Teagan will probably go around the same time so I would like a third pup to be around for a while after those two go.

You all are insane. Abrams is a good puppy....and I'm already counting down the days he's an adult. ROFL I don't want another puppy for a very long time. And, since I, too, want kids within the next 2-4 years...doubt a puppy will happen ANYTIME soon. Abrams was my last puppy for quite awhile. (Or, at least for the next five years, until Michael is out of the service and I've been through my first baby's infant years. LOL)
