I'm an idiot. Complete idiot. I bought a new collar from one of my Facebook friends that breeds Ibizans and also makes awesome collars. I sent her money order by mail and just got the envelope back and realized that I addressed it to myself instead of her. Crap. Wtf is wrong with me? I let her know and I'm going to send it again tomorrow.

My Clarisonic isn't working and now I feel like my face will never be clean again.

Unless, you know, I buy a new one. Which I won't do, but someone else is more than welcome to buy me one lol.

WHAT.
I have been willing mine to die for almost a year because they make them in hot pink now and didn't when I bought mine and I can't buy a new one just because when I have a perfectly good working one that just happens to be pale pink instead of hot pink and mine WON'T DIE.

LIFE ISN'T FAIR.

So...the solution here..is you sell your pale pink one to Southpaw and buy the hot pink one for yourself :).

Bad wardrobe day and it's not even noon! The first shirt I put on had a giant stain that the dry cleaners were apparently unable to remove so I threw that away, then I spilled coffee all down the front of the new one and just now I flung pair sauce (which I don't even know what you'd eat that crap with) all down the front of my suit jacket. Ah well, it's an excuse to run home and visit my Crosserton quick!

Hear hear. (((hugs))) I used to get emotional watching those videos...now I avoid them like the plague. I think I would just dissolve into tears, wither away, and die.

But - only one more month! The time will fly by. :D Michael has until March. But I swear to God, as soon as he says, "Yes, I have liberty this weekend, can you come here?" I will be out the door before we're even off the phone.

I crashed my car tonight when I was giving two friends a lift home. Thank God no one was hurt. My car is completely wrecked and I won't be afford to fix it, buy another car or get insurance any more.

I feel like I may vomit. Or break. Or break something.

Tomorrow will be a new day. But a new day isn't going to magically make this go away. Maybe the feelings, but not the cause.

Do those clarisonics work?
They do! Honestly while using it I never really realized how awesome it was... and now that I don't have it, I notice. It makes my skin so soft and it just.... feels cleaner when I use the Clarisonic. Plus now I've got these weird little whiteheads that I didn't have before, which now I need to use those pore strip things to rip them out. I'm forced to believe that it's because the awesome cleaning power of the Clarisonic is now gone (mine broke like a week ago....).

It's one of those items that I never thought I wanted, but once I had it I loved it.

Okay, so I'm intrigued. There are lots of different models though, and none of them are cheap. Which one do I want to get? Is the "Mia 2" better than the "Mia" for a $50 price difference? The "Aria"?

Yes, inquiring minds and all that. I have a lot of perpetually clogged and large pores on my nose and forehead and sometimes i can get something out of them but mostly theyre just unsightly. I dont have a particularly greasy face, but having better skin is always welcome ^ ^

The Mia is the travel version and it's what I have, because it was the cheapest at the time and I believe still is. The Mia 2 is basically a souped-up version of the Mia. They are smaller than the regular Clarisonic and can only use the face brush - the regular Clarisonic is the only one that can use the larger body brush attachment. I believe it's now called the Clarisonic PLUS.
The Aria is a bit larger than the Mia in size as far as the handle goes, but still can only use the face brushes.

The Mia/Mia 2 both have a pretty long battery life since they are intended to be "travel" versions. It's supposedly 20 minutes, which at 60 seconds per use is 20 uses. I'm pretty sure mine has gone for more than 20 uses.
The Aria is supposed to have a 30 minute battery life. Also the default charger is a USB charger, but it comes with a wall adapter you snap on.
The PLUS also supposedly has a 30 minute battery life with the face brush and 28 with the body brush, if you use them combined (face, then body) it will eat up your battery life faster. My mom has a PLUS and she's never been happy with the battery life, but I think it might be defective. I tried to use it once (with the body brush) and the battery was dead so I've never personally used it. I do know a lot of people with the PLUS use it, then put it back down on the charger, so they just keep it fully charged all the time.

The Mia only has one speed, and you push the button and it runs for 60 seconds, then stops. (You can also push the button again and turn it off manually if you don't want to use it for the full 60 seconds - but I always do.)
The Mia 2 has two speeds, "low" and normal. Really, the Mia 2 is the one you will find most often in stores now. The Mia 2 also has the T-Timer... so it runs for 60 seconds but beeps indicating it's time to move to another part of your face.
The Aria (and PLUS) has all three speeds - low, normal, and high - and the T-Timer as well.

Honestly I would probably buy the Mia again if I could (look at it eeeeeeee!) I've been totally happy with it and I can't see myself wanting the two speeds. Also I sort of like the lack of a T-Timer because it doesn't beep at me telling me it's time to move. DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO CLARISONIC. But those are features that other people would probably like just fine and it's worth it.

Oh, also the Mia 2 comes with a travel case thingie now. A white case that's shaped like the Mia 2 and the Mia snaps in there. For mine, I just keep the brush head cover and snap it back on when I'm done using it, and when I travel, I put it in a bag with my other face cleansing goodies. It's been fine. But the case is kinda neat haha.

The Aria is nice if you want more options and a longer battery life but I would say for most people the Mia 2 is plenty. Only get the PLUS if you want the body brush. That's literally the only reason to buy that one. My mom wanted to use it for dry, rough skin on her legs, so that's why she bought the PLUS.

I REALLY love mine. My experience has been like this: I had been wanting one but was put off by the price. I came into some extra money so decided I would take a chance at it, because it had a 90 day satisfaction guarantee. I planned to use it and if it didn't help my acne I was going to return it and get my money back.
Well, I started using it. The FIRST thing I noticed was my skin was RIDICULOUSLY soft after using it. I mean so soft I wanted to keep touching my face, it was crazy. So I kept using it and using it. But I didn't notice a difference in my acne. I was kind of bummed out... so I stopped using it for a while. I think I actually went to a dog show and left it behind, so I didn't use it for four or five days. I BROKE OUT LIKE CRAZY. When I got home and went back to using it my break out went away. So I think it DID help my acne and I just didn't notice it because I was expecting 100% cure, a miracle. It didn't do that, but it DID help since when I stopped using it things got noticeably worse. This happened another time or two where I got lazy, the battery died, I mucked around instead of charging it, and after several days of not using it I would start breaking out. So it really does seem to make a difference in cleaning.

Needless to say I didn't send it back after the 90 days. I think it has been three or four years since I've owned it. I use it every night. Now that I'm taking these acne pills I don't really break out anymore, but I still use it because it makes my skin super soft, I love how clean it feels, and I'm also hoping the exfoliation will over time help heal all my post-acne marks.

AND IT COMES IN PINK
