And like... one of Macky. I swear she's always there, she just prefers to sit next to me so I never get a decent picture of her.

Anyway, I picked up a new P&S camera off of CL and it's vast improvement over my ancient Canon. So be prepared for more pictures from now on!

(I think most of you are aware, but yes, Blossom is underweight. We're working on it with our vet, rest assured.)

My one pic of Macky. What a look.

Ollie's looking kind of handsome lately:

Jolly Ball battle:

I wish I could say, "This isn't what it looks like" but um... yeah... this is EXACTLY what it looks like. Isn't Keeva just lovely?

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/103274247@N06/9941093544/" title="P1000222 by emilyhilgenberg, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2814/9941093544_583ea278bf_z.jpg" width="640" height="480" alt="P1000222"></a>

Ollie ripped a tiny piece of the Jolly Ball off and thought I should throw. He will fetch ANYTHING.

Blossom always wins in the end. Jolly Ball bliss:

Who lies down like this? LOL I think she looks like Gollum. The protruding rib cage doesn’t help.

I love this pic. My dog in a nut shell. Impatient, loud, and insane. I didn’t throw the ball nearly fast enough!

Keeva! She is just the coolest little dog lately. She just gets better and better as she matures. Suddenly she’s this smart, focused, reliable little dog. Amazing! She blew me away at our first Rally trial in June.

This is me playing with sports mode and messing around with some action shots. For a point and shoot I will take it. My old camera couldn’t even grab a shot of dogs moving at a steady trot.

It's great to see your whole crew!

I really hope you're able to figure out what's going on with Blossom, but she's still very pretty and it's really nice to see some new pictures. And Keeva has the biggest, best ears in the world. So cute! I can't believe Ollie is all grown up now. He looks like a ton of fun. And Macky still looks like the world's sweetest girl.

Thanks so much. We're going to swing by the vet's today to weigh Blossom and see that's changed at all. I also can't believe how grown up Ollie is looking, lol!

OMG! I love your crew. We definitely need more pictures.

What on earth is Ollie? A Golden mix? So cute.
Thanks! You will definitely get more because I'm obsessed with playing with this camera, LOL.

And yes, Ollie is what Springer said. Field line ECS. But actually he gets GoldenX a lot because of his color and probably the fact that I've seen field line goldens with similar expression/head. Plus, nobody can believe a Cocker could have so little hair. He is a lot of dog in a little package!

Thanks! Yeah, the last time I posted pics was... like.... last October. I really deserve 20 lashes for that. So you may not have seen any pictures of Keeva! Ollie is super shiny, isn't he?! People always ask my mom what she feeds him/what shampoo she uses on him, LOL.

LOOOOVE. How old is Keeva now? Her ears still look ginormous LOL. I was going to comment on everyone's shininess too - even Blossom's coat looks decent (and she totally looks like Gollum in that picture, crazy girl).

Keeva is two, she turned two at the end of May! And her ears are still huge.

Blossom just got a bath/soaked with expensive natural aloe-based conditioners to make her coat feel less brittle. Otherwise she feels all dry and gross.

The Jolly Ball is her precious. ;)

All of your dogs are gorgeous. Loved seeing pictures of them!

And Ollie really makes me want a field line ECS. Just saying.

Oh man I love them! I have a soft spot for spaniels and the Cardis I know are such funny dogs. I love Keeva's build. If there were more like that vs so heavy set I'd consider them more. I know a blue Merle that is similar to Keeva's in looks and she's a spitfire. Super fast dog.

Yeah I strongly prefer the racier build; unfortunately, to say it's "unpopular" with the Cardi community at large is an understatement. I've still yet to see a Cardi in the AKC ring that I really liked. :/ They're always so heavy-set and dumpy looking. Argh.

How much does she weigh? It seems like a lot of Cardis are really pretty big dogs.

Keeva is a PEANUT. She's 23-24 lbs lean and mean (guessing, last time I weighed her she was 23ish?). At "show weight" she would be probably 26-27lbs+. Probably 10.5" at the shoulder. I love it! I don't like huge Cardis. My ideal for a male would probably be 30-32 lbs, 35 lbs max. Some of the boys will be 45 lbs, which is just... ridiculous, to me. But then a lot of that is extra weight put on for the show ring.

I love your crew! I had a reply all written out before and I went to post it and apparently it timed out and I lost it. Anyway, I think Blossom looks better then I was expecting. Poor girl. I love Ollie. I had kind of moved away from sporting dogs to herding dogs becuase everything I want to do I can do with a herding dog but now that I've seen Ollie I want a Field ECS. I also like he's described as a lot of dog. Oh, and I seceretly want to steal Blossom. :p I guess it's not a secret anymore. :lol-sign:
