LOL!!

I am trying to convince myself he DOESN'T need a 4ft lead... he's already got a 6ft one plus the tracking lead (both purchased during past specials, haha). But the 4ft one would be good for city walking times... hmmm...

Specials/coupons always make me insane. I feel like I HAVE to. lol.

those with the biothane leashes any of you know what they are like in the cold? It says they are flexible to -20f, which is only -28c, and that's about 4 months of the year for me here.

I don't use my biothane leash often because the clip is too heavy for my dogs, but the times I have used it in winter it's been perfectly fine. My long line has been used in the winter lots and has been fine as well. Granted, I don't go for very long walks if it's colder than -20C but I've definitely been outside with my leashes in -30 and didn't notice a concern. It was no stiffer than my leather leashes.

I couldnt imagine walking a small dog on a 4' leash. I hated walking Rosey on 6' leash, even xD I guess if you don't want much leeway it makes sense.

My favorites are my 3 ft leashes. But now that I'm down to one dog, I'm looking to replace my Frabo leather multipurpose leash. It's so handy to just throw it over my shoulder for hands free.

Lol, that's funny. Yeah I prefer 6ft most of the time but if we're walking in downtown Annapolis, for example (small city, small streets/sidewalks, lots of ppl walking) or in Gettysburg, PA (we go a few times a year), it's convenient to have him have less lee-way. That's why I've been looking at a few police leads or multifunctional leads... I'd love to have one that can be as long as 8ft, and as short as 4 ft.

For the time being, we've been using our 5ft Ella's Lead leather leash for such times, I love that leash! I only use that and the allk-9 biothane leash now. Don't ever use nylon anymore!

Really, what width do you have? I have a 5/8" width biothane for 16lb Jackson and it doesn't seem heavy at all. He could probably pull off 3/4" also, but I think I do prefer 5/8" in biothane (and leather).
