A rainy September walk

I just wanted to share these pictures that I took on Saturday during my walk with the whole crew.

Journey was more nuts and bratty than usual that day. Ugh. Teenage puppies sometimes haha. Thankfully she's cute and a super good girl most of the time!



Pretty Dance. She's been such a great girl lately. Getting her involved in Flyball was the best thing I ever did for her I think. It makes her so happy and she has become so much better with people too. She can still be a weirdo, but I've definitely seen some very positive changes.









Cute Ki. Who was undecided at first whether she could actually enjoy herself in the rain or not haha. Then she realized that it was so much cooler for running crazily as opposed to the heat of summer and had a great time.

Happy boy. I can't believe how much he's changed and matured in the last year or so. We've had a couple of rough patches, but he's back to his mostly normal self. Just a more serious, adult version.



Ripley the Lion. He likes to stalk his friends in the tall grassy fields. He and Keira play this game together sometimes actually. One day I should try and video it.















I swear they're both normal sizes for their breeds haha. Keira makes Journ look like a giant in pictures though and Journey makes Keira look so tiny.

The crazy trio. All these three did was race eachother back and forth over and over again. Meanwhile, Dance walked right behind me and wondered why her friends were so crazy and couldn't enjoy a nice leisurely paced walk lol.













Should have named her Party. She's so full of life and fun.

They all look great! Journey is maturing into a lovely looking girl. You should have named her party, because then you could yell DANCE PARTY!!

YES! DANCE PARTY!! That's it. You have to rename her. She's young anyway and won't remember her pre-Party life.

Wow, always love your pictures; these are no different! I love those collars on the Dobes, the colors and design are perfect for them. I think it would have been awesome to have dogs named Party and Dance, btw, LOL...

I've been trying to take more pictures of Keira and Ripley lately. They're just hard to get pictures of. For pretty dogs, they tend to not always be very photogenic, because they like to be off doing their own thing when we're out. And at home, all they do is sleep, so while they're very cute, you can only have so many sleeping Doberman pictures haha.


I think my city is having an identity crisis these last few years. I remember as a kid, it used to be SO hot and dry in the summer. Our lawns would be burnt by August, totally dead and brown, and we were often under water restrictions. Now it's so rainy and wet and muggy. The last two and a half weeks of August are when our summer finally began this year, and it's been pretty nice since then (except for last weekend's rain), but it's so strange. Makes for very pretty scenery though!

And those totally would have been good names together! Too bad my creativity came 9 months too late haha. I can't change a dog's name after I've already been calling it something else for a long time. Plus Journey really does suit her. Maybe my next dog eventually will have to be called that if their personality suits it!

I know! Leaves started falling before Sept 1st this year. Crazy.

Haha! Could you imagine? That would be so much fun though. Except that I never have to call Dance cause she never goes anywhere, but in theory, yes, that would have been an awesome set of names! I really wish I'd thought of it when I got Journey. But, as my next dog will be another Aussie or a Koolie, there is a good chance it might be suitable for that dog. Eventhough it won't happen for at least 4 years lol.
