I got home from running errands his evening (one of which was attending the first session of Abram's basic obedience class ^_^) and a neighbor had left three tomatoes for me on my porch! Made me smile, and its especially nice to know that they don't hate me for having a loud, annoying, pooping machine that barks when he plays with Cynder a eleven o'clock at night.

I just signed up for PetAssure for $59 thanks to my IAADP discount. And then I called my favorite vet to make an appointment, and it's going to be a whopping $28.50 for an exam with the PetAssure discount. WOO HOO!

I'll totally have to look into that (minus the discount), it seems like a great alternative to insurance.

If you get it you should use this link, and it gives you 10% off ;)

I think it'll be awesome, now that I don't work in a vet clinic. Mean, $28 for an exam is unheard of! And 25% off a spay or dental? That would pay for it in itself!

Even though hours are being cut and I got sent home early today...that meant I had a free afternoon to go tanning out at my parents' house. WHOOT.

That sounds like an awesome idea. Will definitely have to think of that if I can't find a job at a vet clinic when I move!

Months ago I had to pay full price for a psychiatrist visit (~$200) instead of the usual $20 or so copay. It really screwed me over at the time but it's been a while and I've gotten past it.

Today I got a check for $190 from my psychiatrist as an insurance refund :) It couldn't have come at a better time and really cheered me up after a totally dreadful week. $190 may not seem like much but it is all the difference in the world right now for me and I'm so relieved.

That's awesome! $190 is a lot of money to me so I get it LOL.

My doctor's office raised a claim with my insurance company over my annual visit. I didn't ask them to, I didn't even call my doctor's office and ask about it - I just looked at my paperwork and was like "oh yeah, says right here, not covered until I hit my deductible. Great." and wrote my doctor's office a check. And then a week later I got a letter from my insurance saying they are investigating the claim. I can't believe my doctor's office would do that of their own accord - what do they care? They're getting paid either way.
I haven't heard back yet and I'm not hopeful I'll get any money back, but it was very nice of my doctor's office, I thought.

Are you expecting roving hordes of hunters or wounded bears?

I don't think I'll bother with a gun, but it is the season to wrap the dogs in orange and bells while hiking.

We are 117 days out from our Disney trip and the excitement never ends lol. I think I am goin to be on a first name basis with Disneys reservation line. We have added three more people to our room reservation now and we are pretty much at capacity LOL

Never a dull moment lol

Booked our Machu Picchu trip :D Leaving Christmas Eve, coming back the 3rd. A few days in the Cuzco region, and the rest in the Amazon. Weeeee!

I've been wanting to do this for years.

Now here's hoping my mother-in-law doesn't kill us for missing Christmas...

Abrams let me trim his nails all by myself! :D He used to he a wiggling, screaming, crying baby. Now he was just semi wiggly, but held still when I told him too. He's learning!
