Also, they have super melty eyes. And look adorable in semi-matching winter jammies. Ezra would rather go nekkid in the snow, but Mimi wants her jammies when it gets below 60.

Thanks! I can't take credit for his name. He was 'Ezra' as a puppy, was renamed when he went out west to a kennel, then came back this way because he's taking his time growing up. His breeder offered him to me and I changed his name back because I liked it better.

Which breeder? The Whippet community is pretty awesome, especially for a 'first timer' to any sort of breed group.

If I were to ever get a sighthound (I'm firmly in the herderbeast camp, lol) I'd want a whippet. I love their demeanor and disposition. Plus they come in such a great variety of colors!

I grew up with Aussies.. it was tough to get away! You could always have a 'token' Whippet in your group.
