I am pretty much set on attending University of Toronto next fall and eventually earning a Ph.D in psychology. This coming school year will consist of: studying, studying and more studying.

I am going to miss Cali so much, but I realized that a) she will be okay without me b) round trip tickets are not actually too expensive and c) this is my my future, so I need to take initiative and do what is best for me. At least my aunt has a dog and I don't have to go through a complete doggy withdrawal.

My friend is in a long distance not-really-relationship with the biggest douchecanoe on the planet. I've already told her I think she'd be happier without him around and she agreed, and expressed interest in ending things when she goes to visit him this week, but isn't sure she's ready to...how do I encourage her? I know she's gonna go and get wrapped up in the fun she has with him and think maybe things will change...

Going through a bunch of hannahs clothes for the consignment event here next month and I crawled up into the attic to bring down all the boxes of her clothes from when she was a baby.

awwwwwwwwww :( memories and she had such adorable clothes.

I don't necessarily want a baby again but going through her old clothes makes me sad lol

Blah that does not sound like fun. hopefully if you have to get it done, you'll come out of it with good news

Come live by me, Beanie. You can get a new job, a neighbor of mine has two Shelties, the landlord is awesome, and we can use each other for pet sitting services. :D I can also hook you up with Mike's best friend. (Although he may actually have a girlfriend now...hmmm....)

I know all I did was install a simple DVD rack that took 4 screws each but something about using a power drill made me feel "manly" and accomplished lol

This whole growing up thing... I don't know if I like it.

On the other hand, my dad and I are going to be flying to Toronto sometime in the next month for a campus tour. He is going down for business so I will be flying over (by myself!) and we will then tour the campus as well as all seven residences.

I have become too emotionally invested in this university already!

I love tea. Lurve it. However, it always gives me a dry mouth feeling. Anyone know why this is?
What kind of tea is it? Do you put anything in it?

Many teas have an "astringent" mouthfeel, so the dry mouth is intentional, at least to some degree. If it bothers you, trying another kind of tea may help.

So lately when my friends ask how I'm doing and I tell them "fine" or "good" or "okay" it's apparently obvious I'm lying.
Reportedly I look perpetually stressed.

I mean obviously I AM perpetually stressed. But I thought I was still convincingly faking it.

Maybe as I've gotten older I've become worse at faking it.

It's cheap stuff.

Sleepytime I think? A few different flavors, some worse than others with the dry mouth. Chamomile being one of the worst, which sucks because I was using that for quite a while to help me get to sleep. I was putting a little bit of honey in the Chamomile, but nothing in the other flavors.

You're welcome ;) :rofl1:

Seriously, though. Order a few sample sizes and see what you've been missing!

I just ordered 5 samples. I've never used loose tea before.. should be interesting.

I also realized I've been doing it ALL wrong. I need to go find myself a decent quality tea kettle now.. Any recommendations on that? I can't really afford an electronic one (though some of these teas have very specific water temps :yikes:)..

Ever randomly tired for no good reason? I feel asleep by 1:30 last night& slept until 8:30.. that's better than I normally do. Yet, here I am at 4:14 in the afternoon trying to shake myself into waking up. I should make an energy drink exception and go get one..
