Age Differences?

I actually believe it was you we thought was a man, I can't remember the context.

I kind of always thought you stalked children online though.

I dont think you count as a child anymore, love.

Anyway, to really answer the question, there was about 3 years between the last SO and I. I'd not blink to go a larger difference, though.

How do you know?

DH is three months and three days older than me. It works out well.

I guess I'm the 'weird' one here. I'm 22, he's 42. He'd probably kill me if I posted any pictures, and some people involved in IPO would probably know who he is.

Granted, we're only like 2 months into seeing each other, but so far I don't think anyone really notices the age difference. When we met, he thought I was older than I am and I thought he was younger than he is, so it works out anyways. We have so much else in common that the age difference is hardly noticeable. This is probably the easiest relationship I have been in yet.

He actually gets weird looks he uses, although he doesn't look 40 (no wrinkles, grey hair etc ...) he definitely LOOKS older then me (who still gets regularly carded for ciggs & alcohol ) so it appears that the age difference is a lot more then it really is.

The last two "real" relationships I was in had a 4-5 year gap, respectively, with me being the older. I tried to date a dude that was 10 years younger (he was 23 at the time) than me for a bit, but it REALLY didn't work out. We had a TON of stuff in common, but the generational/life stages differences ended up being a big deal.

Oddly, I prefer older guys....Not by a LOT, but like 5ish years.

Old guy was a year and a bit older. New guy is a bit older than that... a year and a half older or so. I wouldn't have been adverse to dating someone with a wider age gap though. At this age, age is less relative than interests.
