Antlers

Did a search and couldn't find a thread relating to this so forgive me if it's been discussed.

To those of your who give antlers to your dogs, where do you buy them from? I think the prices at the pet stores are ridiculous. My dogs love them but if I can't find a good deal I'm going to have to switch to something else. Until now, I've been lucky. I had a few gifted to me as well as I found some on sale at TSC. I did a bit of Googling and found a few sites I like but wondered where else to look.

I bought one from the pet store& then I realized I had friends who could get them for me for free ..so, I got a rack off a buck& we haven't looked back since! It got cut into 10+ pieces and she's still trying to get through the first piece a haha

Lucky! Unfortunately, the only people I know who hunt keep all of their antlers for trophies.

When I gave them to my dogs, I bought them from my trainer. A fairly large piece (suitable for a 70-lb dog) was $5.

I've been really happy with acadia antlers. Picked one up at a show a while ago and have been ordering from them ever since.

I buy ours at a bulk food store (The Bulk Barn usually), they tend to be really well priced they also have the cheapest bullysticks.

I scored some antlers pretty cheap on eBay with free shipping. Pretty excited! 2 large antlers for $5!

check out chewy.com - I recall seeing some for a good deal.

I buy mine from dog show vendors, there's one I like in particular who has a website but doesn't sell the antler online unfortunately (Plush Puppy, if you want to know). These are mine (we finally tossed the tiny bit) placed next to a standard medium nylabone for size contrast -


The largest one was somewhere around $18. I always suggest checking out local dog shows for vendors, I've heard people say they're expensive, but for my location I've had far better luck there than any place I've seen online to date.
