Those of you who use more natural shampoos....do you do anything to make your hair smell nice? My hair never smells bad, it just doesn't really smell like anything except maybe mild soap. I don't usually miss it smelling like flowery or fruity shampoo, but it'd be nice to have that option. Sometimes I'll spritz some perfume on it, but is there anything that can make it smell all shampoo-y without using harsh shampoo?

IME it's hard to cook sugar wax quite right, and I can never get it to work on my legs.

If you're thinking about it, give it a go! Nothing can go too wrong, unlike regular wax, sugar wax washes out of hair easily. At worst, you waste some sugar (I usually do half recipes because of this). If you mess it up (I always overcook and end up with brittle stuff) you can microwave it to a boil with some more water just so it mixes, and then allow it to set again. For this reason I always pour it into a heatable dish instead of on the counter like Maha.

If you overcook and make it brittle, just break it up and eat it. You've got home made lemon drops. :p

My hesitation is the pain... lol. And I am worried if it will actually work or not.. then again, hey, if it doesn't, that's cool. Not a lot lost. That said, I have really sensitive skin so I'd love to get using something natural.

So remember earlier in this thread where we were all talking about trying to grow our hair out and overcome the desire to hack it off?

Yeah...

aaaaargghghh you are not helping!!!

Do you love it? It looks great on you!
I SO love it. This is the shortest I have ever had it, though not by much since I've gone really short before but I'm completely in love with it.

Head feels so light, it's not in my way, not touching my neck and super fun to pet ( I can't stop touching my head). Was SO easy to wash my hair with the ABS and it dried in two seconds flat.

Love short hair.

I don't know why I keep trying to have long hair again, I had it long in up until I was about 19 and then I cut it short. Since then I keep going back and forth between trying to grow it out and having it short (mainly because I'm lazy about the up keep of keeping it short) but I'm never as happy as when it's super short.

Even my mom said the other day that she saw me at work with my hair down (for about the two seconds it was down) and I didn't look like me. And since all I ever do when it's longer is put it in a pony tail why HAVE it long.

It was funny though, I had it cut in the middle of my work day, so I was at work, ran out to get it cut and came back to work. Boss FREAKED. Apparently he doesn't remember I had it short before. The other pharmacist was comparing the length of his hair to mine and one of the other techs wanted a picture of my hair because that was exactly what she wants done.

Helping now?

I like short hair too, but it just doesn't look good on me ... That & I think my OH (who loves my long hair) would never forgive me if I hacked it off, though I thought about it a fee times when it was in that in btw stage, now that it has grown out (took 5-6 years, but it was really short when I started).

My hair is super thick & to would think that it would be hot, ESP in Texas' 100 + degree heat, but I just braid it for work & it's cool & comfy.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO

I've always loved how easy short hair is... I don't like futzing around with it. I do like having long hair because I CAN do something fancy with it if I want, but... the circumstances just never seem to come up. Mostly I put it in a pony, too.

Glargh. I've been waffling back and forth on this for weeks.

I love it Linds! I've been debating on whether to chop all of mine off, it would be so much easier to deal with and it looks awesome on other people. But I've had long hair all my life so I'm not sure I could pull it off...

I had long hair my whole life too up until about 19. But believe me, cutting it all off was the best thing I've done.

But, I am saying that being a person that once I decided I wanted short hair I wanted it all gone now. Once that decision was made I was done, no regrets!

Just remember, and I know everyone says it but it's true, it grows back. Much faster than you would believe too. So yes it does take a long time for it to grow back to your previous hair length if you have long hair (I haven't yet managed to reach my old length because I keep cutting it off before it hits it) but it does get "long" pretty darn fast.

I want to shave the sides of my head and put tattoos there. Or shave my entire head... but I waffle on it, and my roommate threatens to never be seen with me again if I do it.

I like my long hair, just not at work or in the summer time. :(

I personally love having shorter hair. Mine is shorter now (was super long ). I'm considering going even shorter though and going redder than it currently is since the red now looks too brown.

Short hair is the best for summer though the only complaint I have is the humidity out here makes it near impossible for me to keep my hair styled the way I want it majority of the time.

Speaking of short hair. My sister found this picture of me with short blonde hair when I was a teen. I can't get over how much I look like my brother here
