How often do you sweep/vacuum/mop/etc, clean bathroom, pick up dog poop, mow the lawn, wipe down counters, wash linens and dog beds, etc? How big is your house, how many beds/baths, how many people and animals living there?

4 bedroom/2.5 bath house, 1800 sf + 900 sf finished basement. 2 adults, 1 dog

Sweep/Mop/vacuum: A couple times a week. More now that I have Neato the robot vacuum :D
Bathrooms: Whenever I see they need it. We really only use the master.
Dog poop: Never. One small dog, one large yard...it just goes away. If I had kids playing in the yard I'd be more diligent
Lawncare: Once a week in the summer, every other week spring/fall.
Counters: Multiple times a day. After any food prep.
Linens: Every 2-3 weeks? Should be more...but...I'm lazy and hate trekking up and down multiple flights of stairs with laundry.

Weekly. Sometimes I change the sheets on my bed more often if I let the dogs in my bed.

I don't do lawn care and I wipe my counters after each use.

Cali, I'm piggy backing on your format :)

4 bedroom/2.5 bath house, 2500 sf. 2 adults, 5 dogs!

Sweep/Mop/vacuum: We try to sweep every day. Sometimes it will be every other day. We mop the floors once a week.
Bathrooms: Whenever they need it. I generally wipe down the counters, clean the toilets, and empty the trash once a week. We generally just use our master bathroom, and our 1/2 bathroom downstairs.
Dog poop: Never. All of our dogs are fed a raw diet, and it disintegrates very quickly.
Lawncare: Once a week in the summer, every other week spring/fall. We have a company do it for us, otherwise we'd never keep up on it!
Counters: Multiple times a day. After any food prep.
Linens: Every week, sometimes more often (I love clean sheets!). The dog bedding gets washed on a weekly basis as well.

Awesome format Cali, thank you! Forgot to add, what kind of floors does everyone have?

Technically 3 bed (one of the bedrooms was split shortly after the house was built and is an "office", but we use it as a fourth bedroom. Same size as one of the others), 2 bath, 1638 sqft, unfinished basement. 5 adults, 4 dogs (+ boarding/daycare dogs), 4 cats.

Floors: Hardwood floor throughout, not including bathrooms and basement.
Sweep/Mop/Vacuum: Trying to get into the habit of sweeping or vacuuming daily.
Bathrooms: Downstairs is once per week, upstairs is probably once per month. I don't use the upstairs bathroom much, so I don't remember to clean it. Nobody else does, of course :p
Dog poop: Every day to ever other day.
Lawncare: Lawn gets mowed usually once per week in the summer, bi weekly in the spring/fall.
Counters: I rarely use the counters, so I wipe them down after I use them. Should be more, nobody else does it.
Linens: I shoot for once per week on dog beds and our stuff. Brother hasn't done his in months, parents generally do theirs about once per week. We do regular laundry usually every 4-5 days.

Parents' linens aside, I'm really the only one who does anything as far as housework goes. Rick mows the lawn. I've been slacking a ton lately, but I'm trying really hard to get back into it. I enjoy having a clean house, it's hard when nobody else makes any effort.

I do a deep cleaning of my house every other week or so.

I vacuum once a week or so. I should do it more often but I can't find the energy/time.

We mop every other time or spot mop a lot as per need.

We clean the bathroom by need and deep clean on a rather irregular basis.

I pick up poop twice a week.

Denis mows twice a week, I think.

We wipe down counters daily.

I wash linens as per need or weekly.

I wash dog beds monthly probably or as per need.

We have a tiny sub 800 sqft house, 2/1. Two people and four dogs. We have laminate floors.

2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, hallways are wood.

Kitchen/bathrooms are tile

2 bedrooms (including the master), sunken family room, and full basement are carpet.

I want to get 2 more robot vacuums, 1 for each floor, and program them to run during the day :D

Those who have the robot vacuums, do they work well? When I was younger I had a friend who had one, and while it was awesome, it'd get mad if it ran into something and just stop.

Yes it works wonderfully. It picks up stuff my dyson missed, and is just the right size to fit under the couches and the bed. Downside is that the dirt holder is pretty small, so if you have a lot of shedding dogs you'll either need to run it quite frequently or quickly sweep/vacuum yourself to get the big piles of fur, and then let robot pick up all the stuff you missed.

I have a Neato, which I like better than my old Roomba. He's square in the front, so he fits in corners, and he's very methodical in his vacuuming. Roomba looked like a small child on a sugar high vacuumed my house. Neato makes soothing rows across my carpets :D

Nobody in this house cleans, and it drives me crazy. I've kind of given up on it, to be honest. I'll just be twitchy about it. My siblings, both adults, won't even put their garbage in the trash, or do their dishes. I want to stab them every time.

I have a tiny studio (280 square feet or so) so.. things get cluttered easily :rofl1: and it's just me here so nobody else is going to do it

- Every sunday is a BIG cleaning today. All laundry gets done (sheets, towels, etc..)
floors are swept.. floors and counters, bathroom etc..are cleaned and disinfected (yay for clorox wipes!)
- Every day or so I do a quick swiffer.. just to pick up little things from the day.
- Dishes are done right after meals. I can't STAND dirty things in the sink. Yuck.
- Regularly laundry gets done every week

- The 3rd of every month a few neighbors and I have chipped in for a cleaning service.. so every month the place gets a REAL CLEANING.
These ladies are incredibly good. They move furniture, move crates, clean out the fridge, do laundry, SCRUB the bathroom etc..

Honestly the cleaning service really makes a difference honestly. I clean pretty well and pretty frequently but there is NOTHING like coming home after they have left.. everything is all orderly and sparkly and clean!

My brother, basically. Half a can of Beefaroni he doesn't want anymore? Just pours it in the sink.

1800 sq. ft ranch-style house, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, laminate throughout, area rug in the living room. 2 adults, 4 dogs, and a cat.

Sweep/Mop/vacuum:
Vacuum every few weeks. Mop a few times/yr, usually after the rainy seasons.
Bathrooms: DH is in charge of these and he is supposed to do them once/month. I think it's closer to every 6 weeks. >.<
Dog poop: Daily - I have a poop eater, though she's getting much much better!
Lawncare: Once a week in the summer, generally every other week spring/fall.
Counters: At least weekly, but the food prep areas are every other day.
Linens: Towels weekly, bed linens every other week.

I live in a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house with a full basement. On 3 acres of land. There is 4 people, 5 dogs, and 3 cats. I have hardwood floors in the Kitchen and dinning room. The Office, and bedrooms have carpet. The basement is concrete with a few huge runs down.

Sweep/ Vacuum- Once a day.
Mop- Once a week.
Bathrooms- Once a week or as needed.
Pick up poop- Once a week or so. They go way out in the fields to go.
Mow the lawn- Once a week in the summer (or more if it needs it) and bi weekly in the fall. I have my neighbor bush hog the fields once a week in the summer, and bi weekly in the fall.
Wipe down counter- Multiple times a day
Linens- Once a week for both mine and the dogs stuff

I will take the rugs out and wash them once a week and hang the big ones out on a clothing line to dry.
