So I think it was Fran who made... well, EVERYONE at chaz buy a gundogsupply collar, LOL.... I finally caved.

Wanted a plain dependable waterproof collar for Jackson with a name plate and it's perfect.

I was afraid it would be too wide, and it MAY be just a tad, but it's not bad at all when you see it on him in person. And it's lightweight.

Will be perfect for the beach and pool days.

LOVE IT. Very soft and flexible, not too stiff at all.

Yay for cheap collars.

It is a fantastic little purchase. :) I've had quite a few people at the dog park stop and ask me where I got Juno's from.

I don't think it looks too wide at all :)

I think it looks good on him! They're great, aren't they? I bought three from there for my dogs over a year ago and they're my go to collars for outdoor activities. Ripley's is too big though because I accidentally ordered him the wrong size, so I think I'll order a new one for him sized correctly this year and one for Journey too (right now she and Keira share one if I don't take them out together). Except I have to pay more shipping lol. Oh well, they're still cheap enough.

Love it! I just got rid of a couple that were too big for my dogs. When I get some spare cash I'm going to buy some for each of the pups that actually fit and I'll get name plates on them too.

Would someone mind posting the link to these - are they the TufFlex collars that gundogsupply sells? I might have to jump on the bandwagon and get some, they sound great.

Gah, I wish I knew what pup, pups neck size would be at 8 weeks. I want! And those collars are so cheap and pretty
I ordered an extra one for Badger when I was getting collars for my other two, long before he came home. I just ordered an 11-15, 13-17 and 18-22. Pig fits into both of the smaller collars, so I told myself that even when the puppy outgrows them, they can still be used. :rofl1:

I adore mine too!

I got it without the name plate though because the unmatched hardware would have driven me up a wall and the fact that I didn't like the look of the name place.

But yeah, love these collars! Bright and colorful, they are so easy to clean and perfect for all the summer stuff we do. Really like the O ring in the back to hook leashes on.

My only grievance is I look like the mother of twins who dresses them in the same cloths but two different colors to better tell them apart.21

Sooo...what color for a fuzzy black & white dog? I think I'm going to get 1 'fun' collar (probably neon orange) and 1 in either black, brown or the light brown. Ya'll know what he looks like.

I really like my green collar for Traveler. It's super bright but a nice shade of green. Would stick out really nice on him but not look like a hunting collar. That's why I'm not a fan of the orange, always looks like you're saying "Don't shoot my dog!"

And for a normal color I would probably do light brown.

I would do one black just for the sake of matching!
and I think the neon orange or green would look spiffy on him!

That's fair, about the orange. But if I do orange, then it will match his harness and my nails. But, if I get orange, do I risk it NOT matching his harness. The decisions!!

If I do black, it will break up his beautiful white(ish) mane.

Yup, I just got black because I figured it would go with everything. I'm sort of weird about matchy stuff too, LOL... so the black seemed like a good choice. I kind of want a 'bright' one now too though!
