When the weather gets above 75 degrees, we choose to stay in the shelter of our air conditioned house! I decided to play around with the camera and get a few pictures while we're hiding out from the sun. Trent was a good sport...mostly!

Break time!

He has grown into a ridiculously handsome dog.

75 is way too hot. Waaay. Also I am a wuss when it comes to the heat :p

I was talking to Whisper/Virginia the other day and she mentioned it being 105 over there (Arizona). HOW do you guys live? I'd lock myself into a refrigerator and never come out.

And thanks! Just last night I was going through his old puppy pictures and saving them to my external hd... oh my goodness, he was so little.

Oh, it's my most handsomest nephew evar! <3 :D And you're a really good photographer, I've always meant to tell you that! :)

We pour water over our heads and sit in front of a fan or AC vent. :p Only the AC in my bedroom just broke. *dies*

Well, I'm glad it was so hot, because it treated us to more Trent pictures!

He's so handsome and certainly knows it.

oh my goodness, my heart just died a little for you. I have no A/C in this house either, and it was 80 degrees and I'm completely melting. I have an electronic fan a few feet away and wish I could crank it on higher. It's a miserable feeling.

I literally would not survive in a place where it gets above 90-ish degrees. I refuse to step outside in 85+ degree weather. We turn on the A/C once the house gets to 75-78 degrees, and keep it at 72ish degrees. THE HEAT MUST BE VANQUISHED.

Oh, and thanks for the comment on my "photography" (glorified picture taking). Loving this camera!!

80 degrees is atrociously hot, and Trent thinks so too. Definitely a great time to hang out indoors though, even if Trent sort of just wants to sleep.

This one is just perfect:
Thanks!! That's my favorite from the set :)

Thank you!

He looks so hugable :)
I think so, too! I tackle/hug him all the time. He's gone from just tolerating them to liking them for about 30 seconds (before finding them just tolerable again).

I love how you framed these shots! That's something I've been experimenting with in my photography. Trent is always a handsome subject. :D

Thank you! I wanted to make the pictures look a little more interesting, because I've taken SO MANY pictures of Trent sleeping xD I think they're all cute regardless but I'm heavily biased.

lol 75 degrees :rofl1:

Handsome Trent is handsome. Love the lighting of the pics :)
Come on! I don't deal well with heat :p Plus my head is like a magnet for the sun with my hair color and all. And Trent, as a predominantly black dog, feels my pain.

Okay that and I'm weak.

And thanks! Love natural lighting. Wish we had more/bigger windows though!

EEEKKKK Trent pictures!! He is just so darn lovable, kind of like a stuffed teddy bear.
Thanks!! He is super cute :D I love just relaxing around the house with him on lazy summer days.

These are gorgeous photos. I really hope you understand that I spent the entire week of this heat wave outside walking and working dogs. Pity me!!
Thank you so much :)

And here I thought you'd be a badass in this weather because you just moved here from Las Vegas!! :rofl1: Although having to go through it all week outdoors is pretty admirable. Most of my friends at the university are from California, and they can't believe how miserable they're feeling in 80 degree weather!
