Just a head's up, I will post the new trick of the week on Wednesday. We can revisit this one in a month or so if people want, just because the more difficult stalls do require a build up of core strength.

I'm not really going to do foot stalls, she's too big for me. I was just fooling around with her and wanted to see if she'd even try.

I love Maisy!! C'mon, it can't hurt that bad when she lands on your face :p

Siri and I started working on a one legged foot stall tonight. Very Very baby steps, with no jumping or anything. It's basically balance work on my shoe that is barely off the ground.

Sass! Yay!!!

I've been insanely busy this week so we've been no go on trick training.

We'll keep proofing the back stall with time but I don't think we'll try the foot stall after all, maybe someday. I love seeing these videos though! I am trying to catch up, I only saw Sass' so far.

I'm pumped for the next trick! (If you have a sneak peak by monday I have the day off and need to clean the house... procrastination FTW)

I can tell you that it has nothing to do with disc dog! Movement is the name of the game next week...

Here is our final product! I wasn't confident that we would get there, but that's my girl. :)

Not going to ever do this directly from the ground, I think, because of her size. But I'm still proud of her.

I would just like to share that Georgie was standing across the room looking at me, and I smiled at her and said "What's up girly?" and she came running full speed and jumped quite cleanly into my lap.

The only reason she didn't do a rebound is because I'm actually SITTING AT MY DESK so the desk was in her way and she ran into it.

That is all.

ETA: NEVERMIND she just found out how to do a rebound turning the other direction away from the desk.

I found a place to practice foot stalls. Gonna build up that core strength in no time! Mostly this is just an excuse for me to post photos.

She looks relaxed, but she was really workin' it.

I love that and I now want to find a place to practice that with B!

This is after a lot of weave and a bit of auto-down table work with B so we're both tired but I started incorporating the hoop from last week with the vault to help tighten him. I am clicking too soon, watching it now, and I need to decide of I want to click for a specific foot placement (thigh v stomach) as well as four foot touch or two by two. But... Video:

That looks great with Backup! I wouldn't go for a 4 paw hit, mostly because you are a small target and he's a long dog, I think the 2 and then 2 looks good with him.

Also, when you start standing up, that front paw hit gets lighter because he isn't jumping to put his weight on you like when you are sitting down. You do want a nice kick off with the hind legs though.

Thanks, I appreciate it!

Also, I found a cement block we will be playing copy Cohen on this afternoon. :)

Cohen and Backup look great!! Lola's following in Cohen's footsteps by stalling on a small empty tub of butter filled with rocks lol.

Backup's video was great because it showed me that I taught that completely wrong and it's probably why Lo doesn't actually kick off but just climbs up, touches my leg with her paws and back down. I tried to get video but I was at a bad angle. So we're going to go back a few steps and try it again this weekend.

Oh my gosh she's so cute!

I stole the idea from Finkiesmom, I had no idea where to start either. If we're looking good tomorrow morning we might try leaning in a squat...
