The Good News thread

Ran home to grab food. Came back to work with Auggie.
Bringing Auggie to work with me has made him the happiest Auggie that were ever happy. He hasn't stopped being all =D =D =D since I got out his collar and leash.
He's sitting on my lap right now. Making me happy because he's so happy.

All the dogs came back negative on their heart worm tests.

And behaved fairly well at work while we drew blood, they even played in the room while we waited around and chatted.

Jessie, Ian and I are at DISNEY.

I am now officially a Purdue University graduate.

Yup. College of Ag, Animal Science Behavior/Wellbeing concentration.

OMG do you know Dr. Fernandez?!? He went there from penn state (my alma mater)

Not personally, but I spoke with him today and I know some people that know him! LOL

That's the BESTEST specialization. Not that I'm biased or anything (BS with the same specialization in 2007 from Purdue as well).

I cleaned out my garage today. Sorta. By that I mean I pulled a ton of stuff out, cleaned up almost all of the sawdust/dirt/grass clippings, Dad and I made a big pile of stuff that is trash, and reorganized things a bit so we can get to stuff more easily. It's much easier to walk around and get to stuff now and I put the mower toward the back where I can just pull the latch on the back overhead door, open it, and pull my mower out into the big yard - instead of having to wiggle it around and carefully maneuver it out the side door.

Also I put my Christmas trees, lights, and wreathes up in the small attic space in the garage. I can't explain why putting some of MY Christmas stuff up in MY attic is incredibly exciting but it super is. I put it all up there and then stood back, looked up at the attic space (I can see the trees just peeking out) and was like =D =D YAY. All that's left of my Christmas stuff is my plastic totes, and most of that I'm not sure I want to permanently store in the garage anyway (my garage isn't climate controlled.)


I am totally exhausted from cleaning but I feel mega accomplished.

I signed a lease on a house today! It has a small fenced-in yard for Chase, and the landlord is okay with the cats!!!! I'm so happy!

Was finally able to talk with DH about school situation. Feels SO good to have that off my chest. Pretty much down to three schools to choose from now, but I'm taking the night off to watch TV and chill. I should really go grocery shopping, but I think that is going to wait until tomorrow.

I am super super tired...partially BECAUSE SIRI AND I WENT TO THE DOG PARK AGAIN WITH LINDS AND DIDGIE!!!!
That is ALL of the fun, right there. Now Siri is in her crate (totally knocked out) and I am joining her in sleep in the hotel BECAUSE TOMORROW I GET TO SEE FRODO AND RYAN AND THE RAT GIRLS AGAIN!!!!

Such a gorgeous day. 66F, sunny. Nice end to a thunderstorm-y weekend.

Went flower shopping with my mom and picked up some stuff for my house. About $30 worth of flowers and plants for red peppers, green peppers, roma tomatoes, and jalapenos... and my own spaghetti squash plant. I have no idea how the spaghetti squash plant is going to work out but Imma give it a shot!

Just had a really awesome agility session with Em. <3

First weekend home from college, and I get next week off from work. Time to catch up on sleep.

The bedroom is done, except for Mike's clothes and my bookcases.

Now I just have a ton of laundry to wash. Boooo. But, we should have almost everything moved over and organized by the end of the week. Whoot!
