Running agility with a Border Collie just makes me feel like the world's biggest liar.
Robin flies down the dog walk and nails his 2o2o with a soft command from me.
Instructor: "Wow! You guys must really be working on this at home!"
Reality: Two days ago I took 10 min and showed Robin what I wanted while walking beside him on a plank in the basement. That IMMEDIATELY transfers to his second ever agility class at an almost full sprint.
LOL Border Collies - making their handlers look like training gurus.
All that being said, I want to get him a harness. He pulls like a fiend on his collar (we're working on that separately) and either gags, or he realizes we're working on it and doesn't power into the obstacles like I'd like. So, harness. I want to get a fun one with tags. I was thinking something like "Robin Hood" on one side and the other "Prince of Thieves" or "Man in Tights" LOL But, I'm not good at stuff like that - would people "get" it? Ideas??
