She still needs some sharpening, she bubbles over a lot more easily lately (probably due to all of the crate rest and lack of work) but she's definitely coming back around. Yay!

Thanks for looking.

Thank you! Sloan has done AKC & NADAC. I really like NADAC but AKC is more prevalent and they're commonly congruent with obed trials. Backup hasn't competed, he may not until he's 12. lol Arnold used to do NADAC. :)

Love these photos. I know you've been wrestling with weaves for a while -- great work!

YAY WEAVES!

I have so much love for Backup. Sloan is looking mighty beautiful as well.
Thank you :) He was such a turd, so excited and blowing past everything until we worked for a while and he settled back in, I worry that he's a dog who'll always have trouble running in a new place. This is the first time we've ever trained in the back yard.

Love these photos. I know you've been wrestling with weaves for a while -- great work!
Thanks! We're still not out of the woods, Sloan needs some proofing before I trust things but she's not missing her entrances anymore. We might be back to our old selves and I may look at trialing again. I'd love to try to finish her novice fast (needs one q) and work on our open q's this year. I really need to get her in a class though, we've been dappling in a foundations class when the scheduling matches and it's just not doing a lot for her. Denis is handling her, which is awesome because he needs some of it, and I am handling Backup, who actually needs it, but Sloan needs back on contact equip and sequencing.

NADAC is so much fun! I like the weird stuff. Backup has a beautiful bend around those poles.
I love NADAC, too! The distance is a blast and dogs really get to break out and run. Additionally the community at the shows always feels exceptionally welcoming. :)

Awesome shots as always!

I wish I had a dog that could weave... I want to take weave pictures so bad! XD
Thanks! I was actually super excited to take these. LOL My dogs can't weave on their own with me kneeling with a camera on the other side yet so I was excited to finally employ the boyfriend to help.

Weaves have always been a personal struggle, Arnold has lazy-babysitter-needed weaves so when Sloan just soared through them last year I got overly excited and skipped past some essential entry training which we're paying for now. Backup... he thinks slow is for really stupid people so he's one to shoot by.

Either way weaves are no small deal to my household, they've been a struggle and much celebrated. :p

Ummmm Backup is super fabulous. That's all.
Hahahah Thank you. He's nothing if not a total freak of joyous nerdyness.

<3 She was licking the fence in her quirky protest.

Gah, I love your dogs. Sloan's so composed and then... Backup.
The juxtaposition is by far my favorite.

If we could somehow figure out how to harness the sheer crazy energy emanating from Backup's eyes, I think we might have solved the energy crisis.

Your two are so gorgeous! It always throws me off when I see a show Mal now, because it's like your guys are MUSCLES!fur and the show guys are like FUR!muscle-ish.

Love your pups ..there is an absolutely BRILLIANT Mal that competes in agility around here. It (in a totally non-creepy way, I promise) made me think of Sloan& Backup. Mostly Sloan, because her Mal isn't really crazytowns like Backup appears to be ahahah
