Ours is lettuce.

How crazy is that?

The dogs go NUTS for lettuce, especially romaine. The chihuahuas will choose it over MEAT.

lol, I had a seriously fat cat a few years back that would eat lettuce....and Doritos.

Our highest motivating treat are those stupid freeze dried meatballs. The dogs go NUTS over those!

hm... Talon pretty much only get's kibble. He doesn't seem to care what he gets as long as it fills his tummy. He doesn't chew/taste he just swallows. >_<

Art I think his highest value treat was one we found at a dog event in puyallup a few years ago, but we where so bad and only bough one bag then forgot what they where called. I'll always regret that! >_<

Mine don't seem to care. I honestly think that earning he treat is more valuable than the actual treat. Kibble? Hot dogs? They work equally as hard.

Now Summer goes Crazy for getting to go say hi. That is a reward we use- do your work then you can jump in people's laps.

I'm not sure. He likes bits of raw meat, but he also just loves all food. He still works best for balls and tugs, though.

And yeah, he's a weirdo and loves veggies too. He doesn't prefer it to meat, but he drools over bean sprouts and lettuce.

Cali loves little pieces of apple (never gets a whole slice or anything, usually mom just takes off a tiny bit for her) and even cooked carrots. It's weird how excited she'll get over those two things.

Other than that, she loves cheese and although I have tried tiny pieces of hot dog as treats... never again. She loves it... but her digestive system does not. :p

.........the cat
I used to "use" a live groundhog to train Meg at agility. Talk about high value reward!

With Meg, tough situations call for either Nutter Butters or McDouble with nothing but the cheese.

With Gusto, string cheese actually excites him more than meat. If I want crazy drive, his squeaky tennis ball (which he's not allowed to have except in training) comes out. Holy happy puppy, Batman.

Bodhi... You pull out the clicker and she's goes insane. Any treat will do. She gets massive eyes, dilated pupils and reams through everything at 10000 miles per hour for whatever scrap you have to hand.

Informal training, outdoors, she is solidly a toy girl though. She's totally uninterested in food treats outdoors.

Fred.... Isn't all that fussy, buy is more fussy than Bodhi. He likes his smelly cheap biscuits. But anything smelly he likes. He likes hot dogs, but probably prefers cheese. He likes chicken. He's sort of ok with most stuff, but you need to reward him with something, or he isn't playing :D he's not like Bodhi. He only does stuff when there's something in it for him.

CHEESE!! Especially for Desoto. Radar is slightly less picky, cheese and chicken hotdogs are what I typically use for high value treats for him.

She really doesn't care. I would say as long as it's edible, but that probably doesn't really matter, either. Out of everything I have for her in the house right now, I think her favorite is easily the lamb lung.
